Ma Dong-seok and Park Hyun-sik's latest mythology K-drama, Twelve is nearing its end as the final episode is almost here. Yes, you read that right!
While typical K-dramas have 12 to 16 episodes, this one only has 8, and is planned to wrap up the story about the angels against the dark forces. So, set your alarms as Episode 8 (the finale) of Twelve will come out today, September 14, 2025.
In the drama so far, Tae-san finally decided to fight Ogwi and Sa-min after the angels lost Marok. For Tae-san, Marok wasn't just a human responsible for maintaining peace among angels and the dark forces, but a true friend since the beginning.
At the same time, Marok took care of Mirr, as she chose to part ways with the remaining angels and live separately. The recent episode even dug deep into Ogwi's backstory, revealing that he wasn't evil from the start.
It was Sa-min who manipulated and tricked Ogwi, resulting in a transformation that was harmful for the angels and Mirr. This way, Ogwi ended up being a threat to the world, and that's why Marok had to erase Mirr's memories of her lover.

What happened in Twelve Episode 7: A quick recap
Episode 7 of Twelve explores Ogwi's tragic past and heightens the current stakes. The episode begins with Ogwi protecting Mirr from Sa-min, and their backstory shows the depth of love Ogwi had for Mirr.
As seen in the flashback, Sa-min gathered his followers for the coming of Hellmouth, instructing them to weaken the angels. At the same time, he was also overtaken by darkness and challenges due to the dangerous prayers.
Sa-min attempted to summon him to abandon Ogwi's loyalty to the angels and rule over them. Even though Sa-min projected Ogwi into a demon spirit, he didn't wish to stay with him and rejected the nefarious plans.
When Kang-jin begged Ogwi to repent and return to God, Ogwi refused and said he had chosen the path by himself. This broke Mirr as she couldn't believe that the man she loved had become the one threatening angels and peace in the world.
The focus then shifts to the present. Ogwi brought Mirr with him, hoping to reunite with her. However, Mirr walked away as her memories came back and she realized that Ogwi chose darkness and harm instead of love and God.
By the end of Twelve Episode 7, Mirr is taken away by Sa-min, and Ogwi joins forces with the angels to save her. In the most shocking twist, the angels face their long-lost siblings, now cursed and under Sa-min’s control.
What to expect from Twelve Episode 8?

The stakes have never been this high in Twelve, and Episode 8 promises a fight that could leave the angels heartbroken. They couldn't believe that their sibling angels, who once lost their lives, are back, but this time, as evil spirits.
At the same time, the demons are trying to trap Tae-san with their powers, and Sa-min by their side. Ogwi is also willing to help, and if the angels succeed, he might turn into a good spirit and leave the evil behind.
