He suspects that the missing woman, Quinn, was kidnapped by someone. At the retreat, on further investigation, they realized that the CCTV footage had been deleted and thus suspected the owner of the estate, William Locke.
Colter stumbles upon an isolated human foot buried under a construction site. This makes one realize that foul play indeed holds a place in it.
As the plot progresses, Quinn gets kidnapped by an alleged contractor named Jesse Pardue, who did this after Quinn accidentally stumbled on the site of the migrant workers' buried bodies.
