The Voice Season 26 Episode 7 aired on October 21, 2024, and featured much-awaited Battles Round 1. All four coaches, including Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé's team members, advanced into the ultimate face-offs with their own teammates.
From the battles round, contestants emerging as winners advance to the Knockoff rounds while eliminated singers are sent home. Additionally, The Voice Season 26 also introduced a new feature called "steal." It can be used by the coaches to literally steal eliminated contestants from other teams and choose to keep those players as their teammates moving forward.

Alison Elena from Team Reba
From Team Reba, Kendall Eugene and Alison Elena competed while they performed Bring on the Rain by Jo Dee Messina and Tim McGraw. As a result, Kendall advanced on the show while Alison was sent home. It happened after Reba chose Kendall because of her "vocal power" to stay in her team.
"Oh, it was hard. I didn't know which one I was going to pick until I said, 'The winner of this Battle goes to…'and I looked up and it was Kendall. He had a lot to prove. I used my coach's Replay button for him, and he stepped up to the plate."
Eliza Pryor from Team Snoop
From Team Snoop, Eliza Pryor and Mikaela Ayira performed A Thousand Miles by Venessa Carlton. Despite Eliza receiving praise from the coaches, Coach Snoop went with Mikaela, eliminating Eliza from The Voice Season 26. According to the coach, the selected contestant had "more potential."
"It was heartbreaking to let one of them go, but I just felt that Mikaela had a little bit more room to grow. What I love about Mikaela's voice is it's big. She has control but she doesn't fully have control. I think the advice I can give her is how to become a real big vocalist in the music industry."
Gail Bliss from Team Snoop
The Voice Season 26 Battles Round 1 saw another elimination. Team Snoop's Gail Bliss and Chistina Eagle performed Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson. Christina Eagle moved further in the competition while Gail went home. It happened after Snoop Dogg shared how Christina had "more room to grow" and a "strong voice" as an artist.
"What I love about Christina's voice is it is strong, and she can control it. She makes the right decisions. She's amazing. She was moving, dancing, looking in the eyes of the crowd. I just felt she was a star."
Jaylen Dunham from Team Gwen
Team Gwen's Jan Dan and Jaylen Dunham performed on For Once in My Life by Stevie Wonder. It resulted in Jan Dan beating Jaylen, as Gwen chose Jan Dan because he was "ready" for the competition.
"I just had to go with Jan Dan because he's ready. I am excited to get deeper into his confidence and getting him a little more stage presence. I don't think he needs much help with singing. He's a really good singer."
The Voice Season 26 Battles round 1 ended with four eliminated players. Christina Eagles from Team Snoop, Kendall Eugene from Team Reba, Kiara Vega from Team Michael, Mikaela Ayira from Team Snoop, Jan Dan from Team Gwen, Sydney Sterlace from Team Gwen, Sloane Simon (Stolen by Michael), and Mori Ilderton (Stolen by Gwen) advanced in the musical competition.
The Voice Season 26 airs its latest episodes on Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC at 8 pm ET/ PT. Fans can stream the new episodes from the next day on Peacock.
