The Voice Season 26 has entered the Battle rounds, and on October 28, singers from all four teams compete to defend their spot either by outperforming the other contestants or being chosen by one of the four coaches.
The artists who make it through the battle night advance to Knockouts, and other coaches have the option to either press the Steal Buzzer or send the artist home.
On Monday night, during the most recent battle night, the following contestants went head-to-head: Jamison Puckett vs. Shye from Team Bublé, Danny Joseph vs. Deon, and Creigh Riepe vs. Lauren-Michael Sellers from Team Reba, Brad Sample vs. Jake Tankersley from Team Snoop, Cozy Len vs. Felsmere, and Austyns Stancil vs. Jose Luis from Team Gwen.
All four coaches were prepared to lock their horns and decide which artist of their team was less deserving. The battle nights are harsh on the judges as well as the artists as they compete with their tribe. The official synopsis of The Voice Season 26 Battle Night 3 reads:
"The battle rounds continue as Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani prepare their artists in hopes of advancing to the knockouts; each coach has two steals in this high-stakes round."
The Voice Season 26, Battle Night 3: Performances, Elimination, and more
In episode 9 of The Voice Season 26, the Battle round 3 took place, where 6 battles happened, in which a few performances emerged victorious, and others had to bid farewell to the show and their coaches.
Jamison Puckett, Creigh Riepe, Brad Sample, and Cozy Len lost the battle and were not stolen by any of the coaches, therefore, getting eliminated from the show.
All four coaches Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani pitted artists from their team and the first performance became the most unrivalled performance of the episode.
Danny Joseph and Deon John from Team Reba were the first to perform and swoon coaches with their eclectic performance on It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World.
Danny's 'Rock and Roll' vibe and Deon's 'Sweet and Pretty' voice felt like the perfect marriage to coach Reba, and she chose them to present the song together. Danny emerged victorious, and fortunately, Deon escaped elimination and got stolen by Team Gwen.
Another performance from Team Reba was Creigh Riepe vs. Lauren-Michael Sellers, and they chose You Will Be Found. Creigh lost the battle and no coach pressed the Steal Buzzer for him, evicting him from The Voice.
Team Gwen also had two battles in episode 9 of The Voice from their team, Cozy Len vs. Felsmere, and Austyns Stancil vs. Jose Luis. Felsmere and Cozy performed on Summer Breeze, and it was Felsmere's day to shine, eliminating Cozy from the show. Between Austyns and Jose, who performed Lay Me Down, Jose won the battle, but all three coaches pressed the Steal Buzzer for Austyns.
From Team Snoop, Brad Sample vs. Jake Tankersley presented a rendition of Stuck On You, and Jake took the winner's title while Brad was eliminated from the show, as he was not picked up by any coach. Team Bublé pitted Jamison Puckett against Shye.
They performed Love Yourself, and despite each giving their best, only Shye advanced to the Knockouts along with other winners. Jamison Puckett bid farewell to his coach and the team.
The Voice Season 26 "The Battles Part 4" will air on October 29, at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC.
