CBS's latest reality competition show, The Summit, premiered on September 29, 2024. Manu Bennett will host the show and explore the terrains of his home country alongside the 16 players.
On the other hand, the participants who have never climbed a mountain will be featured, along with their share of the cash prize, trekking towards their destination, The Summit. Here is the list of all 16 participants who will be seen conquering various obstacles and challenges while trying to reach the top.
CBS describes The Summit as,
"Sixteen strangers embark on a 14-day trek through the perilous New Zealand Alps to reach a distant peak. Each holds part of a $1 million prize, but only those who survive the harsh terrain, Antarctic winds, and intense challenges will win."

The Summit will feature 16 participants who, before the show, have been "strangers" to each other. The competitors will be seen on their journey to explore and conquer the Southern Alps in New Zealand.
Throughout their climb, the contestants will also face numerous challenges and eliminations. Additionally, participants who require medical assistance will be declared "eliminated" from the show.
The official synopsis further reads,
"They face eliminations and twists from the 'Mountain's Keeper,' testing their morale and unity. Their greatest challenge is to stay together and reach the summit on time—failure means losing the entire prize."
Pati Arana, 37
A 37-year-old Studio City, California native, Pati Arana is a barber by profession. Arana is quite precise at various things, including organizing, camping, and more. Despite having no experience in climbing, it would be interesting to see the player explore the role.
Dennis Cho, 29
A trauma nurse from Indianapolis, Dennis Cho, will compete against his fellow participants on the show. With a medical background, Dennis has first-aid capabilities, which can be useful while exploring the wilderness in New Zealand's harsh terrains.
Dennis revealed his strategy,
"My strategy is going to be to win people over. Make people laugh. But they don't realize that I'm willing to take manipulating, deceiving, and cheating to the furthest extent."
Shweta Choudhury, 28
A Corporate strategist, Shweta Choudhury, 28, comes from Toronto, Ontario. Fans are always eager to witness participants belonging to such diverse job roles. With such a job background, Shweta will have unique strategies and decision-making skills.
Shweta confessed,
"I'm very strategic. I feel like I'm going to run circles around everybody else here. I'm smarter than people think I'm going to be. If you don't think I’m a threat, you're just not paying attention."
Robert Culp, 42
A 42-year-old educator, Robert Culp, hails from Bolingbrook, Illinois. With his knowledge in the education field, Robert must possess leadership skills, critical thinking skills, and a unique perspective on severe conditions in competition shows.
With his years of working as a camp counselor, Rob could be seen sharing his experience of hiking and moving through the terrain with his fellow participants.
Dusty Fisher, 28
Dusty Fisher, 28, hails from Boise, Idaho, and is a real estate agent by profession. He will also be seen on The Summit without prior climbing experience or knowledge. Given his professional background, he would offer excellent negotiation and communication skills, which he can surely use to persuade fellow participants whenever needed.
Jeannie Geyer, 56
Jeannie Geyer, a 56-year-old Trader Joe's employee, is one of the competitors on the CBS show. Hailing from Mahopac, New York, Jeannie, with her daily customer handling abilities, will have unique skills in managing various tasks and participants throughout the show.
Geoff Green, 28
Neuroscientist Geoff Green, who is twenty-eight years old and hails from Sharpsburg, is also set to compete on the reality show. His sharp "scientist" brain and thinking abilities will be pretty helpful to Geoff on The Summit as he navigates unexpected situations and challenges.
Punkin Jackson, 33
Columbus, Mississippi's Punkin Jackson comes from a unique backdrop: the Air Force. With all her training and drills, Punkin must possess extreme endurance, finesse, physical strength, and discipline. These qualities might be a game changer for Punkin Jackson while conquering The Summit.
Bo Martin, 52
Bo Martin is a 52-year-old teacher/ coach from Gun Barrell City, Texas. It would be exciting to witness how Bo, with all these years of experience, will perform on the survival show. Being a coach will be a plus point for Bo and increase his chances of surviving longer than the rest of the participants.
Bo shared,
"I'm a little older, I'm sore, but I'm not gonna quit."
Rose Mattie, 41
Rose Mattie is a stay-at-home mom from Chandler, Arizona. This 41-year-old must possess adaptability and multitasking skills while handling her assigned duties. With such enthusiasts on the CBS show, fans must be eagerly waiting for the next episode of The Summit.
Nick Morgan, 28
Nick Morgan is a 28-year-old Vice President of Sales. Nick hails from Madisonville, Louisiana, and must demonstrate his skills in leadership, marketing, decision-making, negotiating, and more. Theron Pittman, 29
A 29-year-old server from Van Nuys, California, Theron Pittman, must be able to handle multitasking. He might also find adapting to the different environments relatively easy and get used to conquering various challenges while on the survival show.

Beckylee Rawls, 27
Beckylee Rawls, 27, is from San Diego, California. With her professional experience as a construction manager, Backylee must have building-from-scratch skills. Such unique skill sets will come in handy while ravaging through the wild terrains and mountains of New Zealand.
Tony Reyes, 36
Austin, Texas native Tony Reyes is 36 and works as a media director. While directing various projects for his work, Tony joined the cast of The Summit. With his unique mindset about certain situations, Tony can provide his perspective to his fellow participants on the game show.
Amy Stephens, 46
Hailing from Edisto Island, South Carolina, Amy Stephens, 46, is a bank manager. While managing the "cash" part, Amy will be able to navigate various situations with her "people" skills, which she has acquired through her daily work.
Jennye Stirlen, 37
Jennye Stirlen, a 37-year-old MMA referee from Cary, North Carolina, must possess qualities such as fairness and competitiveness, the ability to navigate various critical situations, and more.
