The USA network’s upcoming gaming reality show The Anonymous will premiere on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 8 pm P.T. Fans who enjoy competition reality shows such as Squid Game: The Challenge and The Traitors are in for a treat.
The Anonymous will feature 12 players who spend their time in separate domains and personal underground hideouts. With their strategic, unfiltered takes on the other participants, they can deceive and plot against their competitors to become more popular and enhance their influence over others.
All these, while staying "Anonymous," is the game. Additionally, players who remain anonymous will receive powers, and the last one to stand will take home the prize pot of $100,000.
The Anonymous: Cast members explored
1. Marcel Cunningham
Marcel Cunningham, 33, aka BasicallyIDoWrk on YouTube, is from Seattle, WA, and has over 4 million subscribers on the streaming platform. After seeing him playing video games as he pretends to be someone else, his subscribers have named him "The Master of Disguise."
His skills, including strategic scheming and competitiveness, will surely be useful in the upcoming competition show, The Anonymous, to stay ahead of his fellow players.
2. Sydney Dorsey
Sydney Dorsey, 22, hails from Emmanuel County. Her bio on the network describes her as "a girl from Georgia with the energy of Kardashian." She participates in dirt track races, enjoys barbeques, and also enjoys occasional glamorous events.
The hair salon owner’s father calls her 'Coujee,' which means "Country Boujee," who knows how to "flirt her way" towards the grand prize.
3. Dillian Frelow
Dillian Frelow belongs to Los Angeles. He was raised in Texas and has a "booming" personality. After graduating high school at 17, he started working while pursuing college.
For The Anonymous, Dillian’s gameplay would be to become a confidant for his fellow competitors. Currently, he works as an employee engagement specialist, which makes him "a professional best friend" to almost everyone he meets.
4. Lilly Jenkins
Hailing from Michigan, Lilly Jenkins considers herself a "beauty with brains" and looks forward to competing against her fellow players on the show. Married for five years, Lilly also holds an engineering degree.
The couple met at Michigan State University, and her husband encouraged her to pursue STEM. She describes herself as a highly observant individual whose ditzy personality can fool anyone.
5. Andy King
Andy King, 62, hails from Charleston and is an event producer. Fans might remember him from the infamous Fyre Festival. He adopted a "hustle" personality from his early days in his community in Massachusetts.
Andy's hotel and restaurant have been featured on The Wall Street Journal’s front page. Andy surely knows how to attract people to his world with keen storytelling.
6. Robbi Jade Lew
A professional poker player, Robbi Jade Lew initially started her career in the Biomedical field. While studying, Robbi was a "straight A-student." After being born in Saudi Arabia, she was brought to the US, where she got her education.
Robbi currently resides in Los Angeles alongside her husband and eagerly awaits to participate in various poker tournaments. She describes herself as social and open-minded but can be "highly competitive" at times.
7. Kacie B. Mize
Kacie B. Mize, 32, lives in "a one-road town" in Tenessee alongside her wife, cats, dogs, chickens, and frogs. She describes herself as “a wild child” who wasn’t allowed any children’s books, as they were forbidden.
After coming out about her sexuality, Kacie downloaded a dating app through which she met her wife. It was the only dating app that she downloaded. During her time in college, Kacie was a D1 rower. Currently, she is a member of the Knoxville roller derby team.
8. Xavier E. Prather
Fans might remember Xavier E. Prather as he won the popular reality show Big Brother and became the first black individual to do so. Hailing from Kalamazoo, MI, Xavier has been associated with athletics since an early age.
He tore his ACL while playing basketball during college, which led him to study and become a practising attorney who also happens to be a Juris Doctor.
9. Christopher Shulstad
Christopher Shulstad, 28, was born in Augusta and raised in Charlotte. He turned his passion for fishing into a career and now runs a North Carolina fishing camp. While Christopher’s current status is "single," he is open to meeting an "authentic" partner on the show.
With a knack for cooking, he is looking forward to becoming the House Chef. He hates gossip and liars while enjoying the competition. He cannot resist spotting deceptive and manipulative individuals, which will be interesting to witness on the upcoming show.
10. Tyrenna Tolbert
Tyrenna Tolbert was born and raised in the Bronx, NY; later, Tyrenna joined the U.S. Army to get herself through school. She will join The Anonymous competition with a goal: "Pick each of the players" until she is the only one left to win the prize pot.
Tyrenna has served in the army for more than 30 years and is currently working as a Senior Enlisted Advisor. Among her many talents, she is also a fashion bag designer. She is also a single mother.
11. Nina Twine
Fans might know Nina Twine as Sandra Diaz-Twine’s daughter, who won Survivor twice and has become a legend. Nina gained much attention after voting out her mother from the show. She was raised in a tight-knit military family.
After her mother won the seventh season of Survivor, the mother-daughter duo also participated in the Australian version. However, Nina was forced to leave the show due to her fractured foot.
12. Jack Usher
Jack Usher describes himself as "an aficionado for all things gaming" as he grew up in a sports-centric household in Los Angeles. However, he soon discovered that he was not a "traditional athlete," and that’s how his competitive prowess made him a "nerd."
He was ranked third when he participated in The Masters tournament in Settlers of Catan, a strategy game. He has also won 1v1 World Champion and King of Catan Premiere League Champion and describes himself as "a cunning strategist."
