The recently released Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain House Episode 3 featured Joanna and her daughter, Ella, working on the latter's cottage project. Along with that, Joanna also worked on the mountain house.

She shared more about why that house was perfect for their family. It was because the house had three structures. She added that there were two cottages, a tiny one and a large one.

"And then the tiny cottage. This is the cottage that really spoke to Ella. So, she's designed it. The paint, the wallpaper, all of that is done. Now, it's the little things that are going to really make it feel special. And today we're hoping to find some treasures at one of our favorite stores in Waco," shared Joanna.

She told Ella that she could get art, trays, holders, and other things from the store. Listening to her, Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain House star Ella said that she didn't really use bar soap.

"Well, you should, since you can use this plate," responded Joanna.

Joanna felt that there were "really cool little treasures," which could be perfect for Ella's place. Joanna talked about how Ella was going to start college in just a month. So, they had to finalize everything soon. They worked on nailing down all the little details.

Her daughter chose the green and blue color combination for the cottage. She asked her about it. She felt that even though it was unexpected and fun, she loved it.

"I want it to feel like cozy and a little bit darker. But then the kitchen to feel more like light. So that's why we went with the cream. But then the green cabinets to tie it all together," responded Ella.

Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain House star Joanna told her that she did a really good job selecting those colors. In her private confession, Joanna talked about Ella's interest in design from the early days. She noted that it felt as if her instinct.

After that, Joanna and Ella went to choose a table, chairs, and a lamp. However, after Ella mentioned the height of the lamp, they looked for another option.
