Love Is Blind Season 9 Episode 9: Megan and Jordan start looking for homes after their engagement
Love Is Blind Season 9 Episode 9 featured Megan and Jordan's house hunting. Before that, she shared her excitement with the cameras.
"I'm super excited to look at homes with Jordan. Having a nice home is something that's very, very important to me. That's one of the things I definitely don't skimp on. I mean, most things I don't skimp on," confessed Megan.
As the two arrived at one of the houses, the realtor, Beckett, asked them about their house search. Love Is Blind star Megan talked about her place in LA. She told her that since their engagement, they were figuring out what was next for them.
Megan mentioned wanting to have at least three bedrooms and an office. She also told the realtor that Jordan was "very simple." They explored the property. There was a formal office with French doors.
"We got wide-plank white oak floors. We've got a formal living room or sitting area off to the left over here," showed the realtor, Beckett.
She also asked the couple about their approximate price point.
"In the range of, like, 1.5 or two (million)," said Megan.
Beckett mentioned it was a six-bed and seven-bath house spread across about 5,600 square feet. She told them they were in the two-million range.
Love Is Blind star Jordan asked what they would do with six bedrooms. Beckett told them they could have a guest room, a kids room, a workout room, and more. Later, they explored the kitchen, beds, walk-in closet, and bathrooms. Megan shared that she was obsessed. There was also a basement with a bar and another bedroom.
The two then had the time to discuss after the realtor left. When Megan asked, Jordan told her that he could move into the house right then. He also told her that he didn't want to be a "financial burden."
"Cause I'm, like, bringing essentially nothing to the table, you know? I wouldn't say I'm strapped for cash, but I'm being very financially conscious," shared Jordan.
Megan suggested they sell the LA home, then they could use those 1.5 million to purchase that house. They could get a loan for the remaining $500,000.
Love Is Blind star Jordan responded that he would have to "crunch the numbers."
"I think it's just a little too much house for what we need," said Jordan.
Listening to her, Megan told him that she didn't want him to feel as if he was spending or stepping beyond his means.
In his confession, Jordan talked about wanting Megan to feel at home and be a provider for her. He noted that even though she hadn't yet met his son Luca, she had been keeping him at the forefront of her thoughts and plans.
