SNL is back with its Season 50 and the producers have revealed the first five guest list. In this season the series has cast three new faces. The first episode, to be aired on September 28 will be hosted by Jean Smart and she will be joined by Jelly Roll.
The guest list that has been announced, features the hosts with their musical guests. Let us now look at all the five host-musician duo partners who will be appearing on SNL Season 50.

1. Jean Smart / Jelly Roll (September 28, 2024)
Jean Smart, the celebrated American Actress with Six Emmys and multiple other awards to her credit will be making her SNL debut with the first episode of SNL Season 50. Jean has worked on projects like Mare of Easttwon, Designing Women, Hacks, Sweet Home Alabama, and more.
American rapper and singer Jelly Roll will be Jean’s musical guest. Originally named Jason Bradley DeFord, Jelly Roll began his musical journey in 2003. He rose to prominence with his 2022 singles Son of a Sinner and Need a Favor.
2. Nate Bargatze / Coldplay (October 5, 2024)
American comedian Nate Bargatze will be returning to this season of SNL after the success of his sketch Big George Washington last year.
Nate will be hosting Coldplay as his musical guest and this marks the band’s eighth stint with SNL. A British rock band created in 1997, Coldplay is famous for songs like Yellow, Scientist, Hymn for the Weekend, Fix You, etc.
3. Ariana Grande / Stevie Nicks (October 12, 2024)
For the third episode of SNL Season 50, Ariana Grande is set to appear as the host. Hosting for a second time, Ariana will be promoting Wicked, her upcoming film. Ariana is a musician herself, with songs like Side to Side, The Boy is Mine, Bang Bang, Into You, and more to her credit.
Ariana will be hosting Fleetwood Mac fame Stevie Nicks, who is back at SNL after 1983. Steve’s work includes songs like Dreams, The Chain, Go Your Own Way, Edge of Seventeen, and more.
4. Michael Keaton / Billie Eilish (October 19, 2024)
On the fourth episode of SNL Season 50, Michael Keaton will be returning on his fourth hosting gig. The Beetlejuice star will host the last show that comes before Halloween. Keaton has worked on projects like Batman, The Flash, and Birdman.
Billie Eilish will be Keaton’s musical guest for the night. She will also be back on the show for the fourth time. Originally named Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell, she is an American singer who first came to fame with her debut single Ocean Eyes in 2015.
5. John Mulaney / Chappell Roan (November 2, 2024)
John Mulaney, an SNL alum, will be returning for the sixth time to host the fifth episode of SNL Season 50. An American stand-up comedian, Mulaney has featured in shows like Big Mouth.
Chappell Roan will be making her SNL debut as Mulaney’s musical guest. With the success of her song Good Luck, Babe! Roan has become a breakout star.
