Rhythm + Flow Italy Season 2 Episode 2 Recap - Cuta gets a ticket to Milan, Geolier recruits talent from Locorotondo

Rhythm + Flow Season 2 Episode 2, titled You Gotta Slay It, Bro, dropped out on Netflix on March 30, 2025. The episode featured the final decision that was to be made between Kuki and Cuta.

Later in the series, we see that Geolier imgoes over to Locorotondo, a city in South Italy, in roder to fetch new talent for the auditions.

Rhythm + Flow is a music reality TV series and was first based in the USA first. Later, Netflix expanded the concept to various countries such as Italy, France, Brazil and Poland. This is the first show that the platform has created in the music competition category.

Throughout the Rhythm + Flow season, we witness major artists from the country reviewing and mentoring rappers from all across the country who are competing to win a cash prize.

In several Rhythm + Flow episodes, the main judges are joined by guest judges who provide their opinions on the talent's performance. In this one, we see MadMan, a prominent rapper in Italy, join Geolier for the hunt.

Rhythm + Flow Italy Season 2 Episode 2 Recap - Cuta is sent to Milan

The Rhythm + Flow episode started backstage at Nuova Scene where Cuta and Kiki just had a rap battle. Fabri Fibra had joined Geolier, and they talked about the performance of the artists.

Fabri claimed that "they made the audience have fun," and that's the whole point of rap. Willie also agreed with the judgment. Ultimately, making his decision, Fibra said,

"Last year, even though the rappers were good, they failed in the freestyle battles. That's why I wanted to see you both perform in front of a live audience.

He added,

To see you go up against each other, and to see who can really hold their own. So, Cuta, you're coming to Milan. From start to finish, you maintained that intensity... You, Kiki, you just weren't as consistent. But you should be proud of your performance."

As they walked out, Kiki was furious at Fabri Fibra and started swearing loudly outside the venue loud enough for the judges to hear. He dropped the F-bomb for the rap star as well as his entire family.

Rhythm + Flow Italy Season 2 Episode 2 Recap - Geolier and MadMan go to Locorotondo

Geolier, whose music is inspired by Southern Italy and the culture around the region, was happy to be recruiting artists from there. He said,

"My music symbolizes the rebirth of the south of Italy as it finally takes the space it deserves. That's why I'm here in Puglia, the region that might best represent the life force that Southern Italy has at the moment."

The judges gathered three artists, Camilway, 3Loads, and Amon. On a rooftop, the three performed their rap songs. As for Camil, who is originally from Calibria, he incorporated the dialect into his rap, which indicated authenticity to the judges.

For this reason, he was selected and sent to Milan. As for Amon and 3Loads, the two were tied and thus, moved ahead towards a freestyle rap battle. Geolier, who had made his decision, announced that Amon will be moving to Milan.
