What happened on Rhythm + Flow: Brazil Episode 3? Recap explored

The third episode of Rhythm + Flow: Brazil started with a rap battle between fellow rappers. They were paired up, and whoever won the round would advance to the Feats Phase.

It started with COLD JAS and Muse Maya. As COLD JAS started the battle that fans enjoyed, Muse Maya soon delivered an even fiercer rap performance.

The judges discussed how Maya was more “interesting”:

"I find Maya more interesting. She's arrogant, like a rapper."

They also discussed that COLD JAS was the same and had “speed and flow.” However, Filipe Ret mentioned that he couldn’t understand what Maya said in the end, and the other two judges also felt the same. Muse Maya was chosen for the next phase of the Rhythm + Flow: Brazil.

The second battle was between Gabrelú and RUI’f, which the latter started. As the judges could not decide, they requested another battle. This time, they asked to switch the order. Hence, Gabrelú would go first, while RUI’f would respond.

Even after the second battle between the two, judges could not find what they had been looking for.

"After everything that happened here, by a little act of fate, we decided to go with, an ending that's a little different and unconventional. Before we end the night…I wanna welcome back Maria Preta and Afrodite," announced Djonga.

The judges announced that Maria Preta and Afrodite would move forward while Gabrelú and RUI’f were sent home.
