What happened in Pro Bono Episode 11?

In Episode 11 of Pro Bono, Gi-ppeum forces David to confess that while he wanted to take revenge on Jae-bum's father, he did not do anything unethical to prove him guilty. Amid Jun-woo's attempts to make the case against David, the team began to look for the truth. Gi-ppeum, who had initially wanted to give up representing Jae-bum's case, now had a goal to bring the truth to everyone's attention.

To do that, the team went to meet the young boy's mother, who had died in Jae-bum's father's factory. She was the one who revealed the truth about Jae-bum's father being hard on her son. He had reprimanded him for taking a couple of papers from the factory and forced him to work for free, and also paid him less wage.

This new information made them see the case in a different light and try to find out what angle David had looked into while giving his judgment 10 years ago. Gi-ppeum then found the truth and brought the manager again as a witness and forced him to tell the truth that it was Jae-bum's father who asked him to lock the small door from where the young boy would have escaped during the fire, which ultimately killed him.

While this proved that David did not take revenge and was correct in his judgment against Jae-bum's father, the latter still did not accept it. As the case is solved and David and the pro bono team unite, he also learned that, along with his former boss, Oh&Partners' owner might also have a hand in his downfall.

At the end of the episode, David again finds himself in trouble as Yeong-sil's father files a 1 billion Won defamation case against David, which also gives the team their last chance to bring all the people to court who orchestrated David's downfall.
