Netflix aired the latest Love is Blind Season 7 on October 2, 2024. The popular social dating experiment introduced 29 singles looking for their potential partner.
Among the participants, the show introduced Leo Braudy, an art dealer who found himself "torn" between two possible connections. They were Hannah Jiles, a medical sales executive, and Brittany Wisniewski, an esthetician.
Leo eventually decided to take things further with Brittany and got engaged on the show, while Hannah pursued another connection. However, the show decided to part ways after everything that had happened between the three, which was a complicated situation.
Leo and Hannah went on a trip away from the show, after which they broke things off.
Leo shared in an interview with Entertainment Weekly on October 2, 2024:
"We were just on a high, because you're excited to see each other, you're also excited to be back out in the real world. We had so much to talk about, it was kind of cloud nine, and then things settled."
Love is Blind Season 7: Leo opens up about his breakup with Brittany outside the experiment
Love is Blind stars Leo and Brittany got engaged in the social experiment and wanted to continue exploring their connection. For that, the duo went on a separate trip rather than going on the show's next phase.
Netflix shared the development with the viewers,
"Brittany & Leo were not one of the six couples chosen by producers to continue their journey in Mexico. They took their own trip to Miami and broke off their engagement weeks later."
During his recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, published on October 2, 2024, Leo revealed his "post-reveal engagement trip" with Brittany and more. Leo described their breakup as "pretty mutual."
Leo opened up about how they went on their "post-reveal engagement trip" outside Love is Blind. After spending time together in LA and Miami, they enjoyed each other's company. However, they also realized something else,
"I think we both realized that we just weren't really going to end up getting married."
Leo, 31, shared how their time went "well" during the "first few days" away from the experiment. However, soon, things between them ended, as he described it, being "on a high." They talked "so much" and felt like being on a "cloud nine."
Later, when "things settled," Leo and Brittany ended things in a "quieter" way. He mentioned having no "big fight."
"I remember we were having lunch at one point and she was wearing my ring, and we just said, 'I know we're engaged, but do we really see ourselves taking this all the way to a marriage?"
Eventually, Leo and Brittany decided they were "really good as friends" and didn't see "it" happening.
Fans can stream the first six episodes of Love is Blind Season 7 on Netflix and witness what happened between Leo, Brittany, and Hannah during the first phase of the social experiment.
