The Prime Video exclusive action-packed thriller Reacher has officially completed its third season and has been renewed for a fourth season owing to its success on the streaming charts. The show is based on Lee Child's novel series of the same name that follows the titular hero, a former military man, as he faces off some very dangerous criminals. The show's third season was based on Lee Child's Persuader, and the book's titular hero is played by Alan Ritchson in the show.
The first season of Prime Video's Reacher featured a younger version of the titular hero played by Maxwell Jenkins. Jenkins played Jack in the flashback scenes of the first season, accompanied by his brother Joe. Young Jack, not so different from his elder counterpart, was not afraid of standing up to bullies, a quality which often got him into fights.
The later seasons of the thriller did not feature Jenkins' role in the show, and when questioned if the fourth season would be the one featuring his return, Jenkins did not give a confirmation but did say he would love to be back.
Here's everything he said about the reprisal of his role in Prime Video's Reacher.
Is younger Jack coming back in Reacher Season 4?

In conversation with ScreenRant, Maxwell Jenkins, who played the younger counterpart of the titular hero in Prime Video's Reacher Season 1, talked about his possible return to the series and said he would love to come back if they needed him. He revealed that he was still watching the show.
"I haven't [had any talks], but Nick [Santora]'s awesome, and I loved my time on that set. I haven't had talks with them, but the show is great. I continue to watch it, and Alan is so fun to watch. I can't wait to see what that show has in store. If they need me back, I'll be there."
Since it is yet to be revealed which one of Lee Child's novels will be adapted by the Prime Video thriller for its fourth installment, it cannot be predicted if Jenkins might be reprising his role of the younger Jack.
The flashback scenes in the first season were an important part of understanding the titular hero's character, and only time will tell if such flashback scenes will be returning to the fourth season of the action-packed thriller.
Since many of the other Lee Child's novels in this series for the exclusive Prime Video show have many flashback scenes and refer back to childhood scenes of the titular hero so there's a chance that Jenkins' role might be reprised in the upcoming season. Nevertheless, no more confirmed details are available as of now.
