The Challenge's latest episode went live last week, and Josh Martinez was eliminated by Cory Wharton. As for the rumors between him and Laurel Stucky, Josh finally addressed the matter to settle the rumor about their relationship.
When asked in an interview with Entertainment Weekly about the rumor, initially Josh decided to not make any comment,

"No comment. And we are not friends. So that is that on that."
Later, he shed some light on the matter,
"There is nothing there and there never was."
On the latest season of The Challenge, no chemistry was seen on screen between the two. However, the rumor is that Josh and Lauren had a hookup or a fling which wasn't shared with the audience. Laurel decided to quit the show two episodes before Josh was eliminated.

During the season, Laurel got into a verbal altercation with one of the contestants, Cara Maria Sorbello.
After leaving the show, she commented about the other contestants, including Nurys Mateo, Ryan Kehoe, Horacio Gutierrez Jr., Tina Barta, and Darrell Taylor. She also got into fights with Zach Nichols and Jemmye Carroll (former members of The Challenge family).
Eventually, she also ended up turning her only ally, Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio, when Johnny found out that Lauran cast him the lowest points in the Karma Vote.
When Josh was asked to comment on this, he said,
"I think it's really sad — I'm not going to say a single bad thing about Laurel, and I know that that's the popular thing right now. "She's a hot topic. It's really disappointing that I, as a friend, reached out privately just to be like, 'Hey, certain things that are being said aren't cool.' If I was acting like that, I would want Rachel or Johnny or somebody to check in on me, but also check me. And I tried to do that."
However, Laurel didn't even respond to him nicely. This made Josh take a step back from this friendship and call it off.
"She said that I ruined our friendship on 40, so I'm going to take it from that," he adds. "I wish her the best, but I'm taking a step back from that whole friendship."
