MCU’s new project Agatha All Along launched a brand new poster to commemorate the release of the upcoming series later this month. MCU representatives took to their official social media handles and shared a bit of a teaser for the series.
Viewers have been anticipating a sneak peek into Agatha All Along to understand what to expect. It appears that MCU has delivered a mere breadcrumb of the series, leaving fans happy and ecstatic for what's to come.
The poster primarily follows tones of red and black and flaunts a retro poster aesthetic. The title of the show is written in eerie graphics. Right below the writing is Agatha (played by Kathryn Hahn) nonchalantly lounging on a makeshift sofa. Below that, it read, “Revenge is a Witch.”
Furthermore, the poster also reveals the release date and the streaming platform of the series - September 18, 2024, and Disney Plus. The series is set to unravel the aftermath of Agatha losing her powers in WandaVision.
When will Agatha All Along be released?
MCU’s Agatha All Along will drop on September 18, 2024, per Deadline. The show’s first 2 episodes will be released the same day as the premiere and the remaining 7 episodes will be released weekly until November 9, 2024, exclusively on Disney Plus.
The show includes several A-list actors and actresses from the entertainment industry apart from the veteran actress Kathryn Hahn. Agatha All Along will also see Aubrey Plaza (Rio), Joe Locke (an unnamed character - a teenager), Patti LuPone (Lilia), Sasheer Zamata (Jennifer Kale), Ali Ahn (Alice), and several others.
What is the plot for Agatha All Along?
According to the official plot of the show, the anti-hero finds herself vulnerable, without powers. To obtain her vanquished powers and maybe even get back at the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) for stealing them, she embarks on a perilous journey to the Witches Road.
Legend has it that if Agatha (or anyone) survives the tribulations of the Witches Road, they’ll be granted the deepest desire of their heart. In her case, she’d get her powers back. But the journey isn’t going to be a piece of cake as the trailer so clearly depicts. She is set to face new challenges and encounter foes as well as some allies.
One such ally is Joe Locke’s character whose name and role are strictly kept under wraps to date. However, the one thing known about him is that he breaks the distortion spell Agatha was put under.
Furthermore, he’s an enigma on his own and will play a crucial role in her journey to the Witches Road. The show is executively produced by the legendary Kevin Feige, who will be joined by Jac Schaeffer, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos, and Louis D’Esposito.
Agatha All Along is one of MCU's most highly anticipated shows and will feature the aftermath of WandaVision.
