Love Island UK Season 12 Episode 23 Recap - Two new bombshells enter the villa

Love Island UK dropped episode 23 on ITV on July 1, 2025, and it featured two new bombshells entering the villa. The islanders' environment has been tense, especially after the recent heart rate challenge.

The morning after the same, Toni, Yas, Shakira, and Alima sit down to discuss what Helena did to raise Harry's heart rate so high.

Alima reveals that she had whispered in his ear that she wanted to "f*ck" him. Yas then revealed that Harry had replied to her and reciprocated Helena's gesture.

This pissed Shakira off who was not on board with the behavior exhibited by her fellow islander especially when she knows that Harry and her are already a match.

Shakira revealed that Helena had been joking with her about their kissing for 45 minutes just this morning. The girls understood her emotions and reassured her. Shakira said,

"Everyone's p*ssing themselves about me behind their back."

Shakira then sits down to chat with Harry, and he reveals that even though Helena said a lot to him during the challenge, it does not change anything regarding how he feels about Shakira.

However, she is angry and says that everything has changed for her though and the conversation ends with her walking off angrily claiming that he should "shag her in the Hideaway." Seeing her angry, Helena tries to pull her in for a chat, but Shakira denies.

Soon after, the Love Island UK residents get a text message that Toni and Shakira will go on a date. As for Connor and Dejon, they will also have a day with the newest bombshell named Billykiss (who has abs, by the way).

Ben and Alima talk about their moment during the Love Island UK heart rate challenge when she was all over him. Ben said that he enjoyed the same, and that is probably why his heart rate rose the most for her. The segment ended with them kissing on the couch while the other islanders watched from afar and cheered for them.

While Shakira and Toni are gone, Harry decided to sit with Helena and have a chat. Tommy, Connor, and Ben, who were sitting separately, discussed the same thing that Helena had whispered to Harry's ear and how he replied to her.

However, Tommy and Connor found it disrespectful to Shakira because she would have said the same thing to someone else on Love Island UK, and they wouldn't be very happy.

Now that Shakira was back and sitting afar, Harry sat down with Megan, Dejon, and Helena for a chat and said that what the latter whispered in his ear had done the trick of increasing his heart rate. Shakira was sitting afar, angrily watching the conversation between them take place.

Billykiss and Dejon go on a date outside the Love Island UK villa that day and develop a connection. The two talk about spirituality and everything else under the sun, and to fans, it seemed like a better connection than what he has with Megan.
