Love Is Blind Season 9 Episode 8: Jordan's mom and sister give their blessing for the couple's marriage

Love Is Blind star Megan's mom, Jayne, and sister, Jessica, arrived with balloons. She told them that it was "not subtle" at all while everyone laughed.

Sharing about the day, Megan confessed to the cameras:

"It's the fourth anniversary of my dad's passing, and...you know, that's...that's always heavy on my heart. And the fact that I get to spend that with my mom and my sister, and introduce them to my fiance, like, the man I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with, that's huge."

Megan's mom, Jayne, asked the two if they coordinated their outfits. She also complimented Jordan on his tattoos. While she joked about it, she said that she was also the funny one. Jordan also joked, telling them that he had a 17-year-old son, and everyone laughed more.

Love Is Blind star Megan talked about learning about Jordan's son, Luca, having type 1 diabetes. Listening to that, her sister and mom both got emotional. Her sister, Jessica, also discussed the dream she had about their dad.

"It was like I was talking with Dad, and he was just telling me, His son is like me. His son is like me. Like, this isn't just a coincidence. That's the only way I could get her to know. And there you go," said Jessica.

Later, Megan mentioned Jordan's vasectomy. Her sister asked them about having more kids.

"I can't wait for you to meet him (Luca)," said Megan's mom.

Further in their conversation, Love Is Blind star Megan also talked about how she and Jordan have been navigating their food choices. It was because their options were very different. When he mentioned he was "pretty simple," Megan's sister noted that she was "adventurous."

Jessica then asked Jordan to describe Megan in three words. He said,

Adventurous, ambitious, and beautiful.

Her mom talked about the importance of communication in a relationship.

Love Is Blind star Jordan recalled having deep and tough conversations with Megan. She noted that when she struggled through the previous day and waited before telling him, he didn't like that she waited. Jordan said that the two of them talked it through and that there was no yelling.

"In my past relationships, I've been so worried about bringing these things up that somebody's gonna leave me," shared Megan.

Her mom got emotional while Jordan assured her that he wouldn't leave. She told Jordan that they were on board and thought he was awesome.

"Oh yes. Did you ask me for her hand in marriage?" asked Megan's mom.

Jordan replied that he was waiting for Megan to go to the restroom. Listening to him, Megan went to the restroom. He then spoke with Megan's mom and sister, mentioning how the situation was "absolutely crazy." He added that he loved her "to the moon and back." He then asked for their blessing to marry Megan.

In a joint confession, Megan's mom shared:

"I am just overwhelmed. I mean, I came into this evening not...not feeling like I was gonna come out this way. I am just pleasantly surprised what a nice fit they are."

Her sister noted that Jordan seemed "very down-to-earth" and "very humble."
