Love Is Blind Season 9 Episode 8 featured the first meeting between Joe's family and Madison.

During their meeting, Joe's mom, dad, sister, step-sister, and stepfather were present. They asked Madison various questions regarding blind dates, pods phase, and why she chose Joe, among other things.

Madison and Joe recalled getting to know each other during the pods phase and shared their feelings about each other. Later, Joe's sister and step-sister shared that they could see the love between them and that they were excited.

Love Is Blind Season 9 Episode 8: Joe's family members ask Madison various questions

Before Joe's family members arrived, Love Is Blind star Madison confessed about wanting them to be on board. She hoped that they would see the love she had for Joe. Soon, Joe's mom, Denise, Dad Michael, sister Jennifer, step-sister Stephanie, and Denise's ex-husband, Mike, arrived.

When Joe's sisters asked if they were nervous, he noted that the past three weeks were filled with nervousness. They also asked about Madison's siblings.

"I do. So I have one older sister, who's also my half-sister," shared Madison.

Joe's sister asked about having nieces and asked him if he had met them. He replied that he had yet to meet them. They all toasted to a "wonderful engagement."

"So what was the main thing that attracted you to him in the pods?" asked Joe's sister, Jennifer.

Love Is Blind star Madison responded that Joe was very attentive. She recalled feeling chosen, heard, and special. Joe added that they discussed family values and having children during their blind dates.

His sister also asked Madison about their first reveal and what her reaction was.

"The first thing I noticed was just his eyes were, like, so big," said Madison.

Joe talked about developing an emotional connection during the pods phase. He referred to it as "marriage counseling." Madison referred to it as the "most therapeutic thing" she had ever done. He recalled not learning certain things in his past relationship in years, but during the pods, he found on day two.

During their conversation, Joe's dad asked her about being ready for the next phase. Madison responded that she had a great career, owned a house, and was in a good place with everything else in her life.

"And it's like, I wanna be able to share that with somebody. I'm not gonna sit here, like, this isn't a crazy process. But I am sure that I'm doing this with Joe, and I'm ready to be a good wife and have that reciprocated," added Madison.

She faced another question regarding how she could be ready in just three weeks to get married. Love Is Blind star responded that she and Joe both were "very intentional" since the pods phase.

She added that she had put her heart and soul into it and believed Joe did the same. Joe's step-sister Stephanie shared that she was excited for the two. She added that she could see the connection between them.

"I had no idea what to expect tonight. I feel, like, more at peace," added Stephanie.

Later, Love Is Blind star Joe confessed that Madison "clicked" with his family. They loved her, and it meant everything to him. They all cheered for Joe and Madison.
