Everyone was excited, happy, and looking forward to the wedding—the bride and groom had been waiting for that day. Taylor and Garrett's family and friends were present for the ceremony. Just before the wedding, Garrett's parents came to see him and discussed many things ahead of his wedding.
Garrett's dad, Randy, and his mom, Dawn, were enjoying their son's big day. The male cast member shared how he felt "lighter" than earlier that morning when he felt "heavy."
"It's an important decision. One of the biggest ones you'll ever make," Garrett's mother shared.

When Garrett's mother, Dawn, expressed how the Love is Blind couple was making a "weighted" decision so quickly, he shared his side.
"I know you guys haven't spent much time with her (Taylor), but you will. She's brilliant, and she's very logical and considerate."
After hearing so many good things about Taylor, the groom's father teased him and asked, "What the hell was Taylor doing with him?" Everyone laughed.
As the trio sat for a quick chat, the quantum physicist's parents noticed he was writing the vows. His mother mentioned how he was not quite "spontaneous" at such important things.
The Love is Blind star shared how he and Taylor have been thinking about the "big decision" they should make. He also shared that they were taking that "very seriously."
"I wouldn't go up there and say yes unless I was absolutely sure. As sure as I can be in this moment and her as well. So I've been doing my best to really honor that, and if I say yes, it's like, a very honest answer," shared Garrett.
His mother referred to it as a "heavy" decision and told his son it was one of the "biggest" things he would ever decide. While they were having a serious conversation, Garrett's father tried to lighten up the mood and he teased,
"Or else you'll be regretting it like your mother's done for the last 25 years now."
Garrett also opened up about possibly moving to San Diego, Taylor's hometown. He said that having a family, including a wife and kids, he wasn't sure all those were "in the cards" for him.
"I don't think anyone was out there for me that I would totally feel compatible with and comfortable with and who would challenge me in the right ways, but also, like, caring and humble and respectful. I'm so grateful," Garrett shared.
Love is Blind star added that he was grateful that he found Taylor and about how he felt "the way" he felt. When he said he would be a "fool" not to act on it, his father agreed to him.
Seeing their son pretty determined about getting married to the connection he made on the social experiment, his mother said she would not intend to try to talk him out of it.
Garrett's father said having a partner would mean having somebody with whom to share his "successes." Dawn agreed and told Garrett he is a wonderful human and always has much to share.
"I know that she's a great human being, too. She has to be for you to have fallen for her so hard," shared Dawn.
Further in their conversation, the Love is Blind star said he was still "shocked" how everything worked out between him and Taylor. His mother then shared that that day was the 13th, and they also married on the 13th date. His father said it was a good lucky number.
Garrett's mother got emotional as she shared how he had grown from being "such a little curious George" to what he is now. They shared a hug after their heartfelt conversation ahead of the wedding.
Netflix is now streaming all the episodes of Love is Blind Season 7.
