Netflix premiered the debut season of Love is Blind UK on August 7, 2024. The dating show focuses on participants getting to know their potential romantic connections without physically meeting them. The show features cabin-like pods, and participants are supposed to talk through a wall during their blind dates.
Only after agreeing to engage with their respective connections do they get to see their partner face-to-face. After gaining popularity in various international versions, including Brazil, Sweden, Japan, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, and Dubai, the show has debuted with the UK version on Netflix.

During Love is Blind UK season 1 episode 2, Natasha from Cheshire and Tom, from London had their first date. They discussed their interests and found that watching movies was one of their mutual interests.
Shedding more light on how she went through weight loss, and how it changed her confidence, Natasha revealed that she lost "five stone" about a year and a half ago.
"There was a point in my life where I had virtually no confidence in who I was as a person." Natasha shared.

The second episode of Love is Blind UK saw Natasha and Tom going on their first date. Natasha asked Tom how he felt about marriage.
The Love is Blind UK star Tom shared that for him, marriage was a "lifelong commitment to someone" where he wants to be transparent with his partner and not have to worry that the other person would walk away.
Later, in the second episode of the show, Natasha confessed that everyone constantly looks for the next best thing. She also shared that people saw her as a "skinny blonde girl" and were only under the impression that she would want to go out for quick drinks.
She then shared how she lost weight, and since then, "men see me a bit differently." She also shared that before that time, she had no confidence. She was looking for someone who would love her for who she was.
She shared more:
"I am not a trophy wife. I am, like, a serious, intelligent woman. I want affection. To do the scary moments with. I want to, like, love with no fear. That’s the dream."
Natasha and Tom’s second date: Love is Blind UK
During her second date with Tom, he asked Natasha if she would be open to the idea of moving abroad. Natasha revealed that she would be “fully open” to that.
She shared more about her job as a school career coordinator and added that she had learned additional skills such as coding and website development. Natasha described herself as a self-proclaimed nerd and told Tom that she was a "bit of an introverted extrovert."
She revealed to her potential connection on the show that she liked her own space and liked to sit and do her coding.
