Married At First Sight Australia participants Jacqui and Clint recently got engaged, surprising their fellow cast mates. Jacqui shared an Instagram post on April 6, 2025, revealing the news after Clint proposed to her at a So Dramatic! party.
Fellow cast members learned about the engagement while at another party hosted by Daily Mail Australia. Awhina, Carina, Ryan, Paul, and Jamie were present at the party where they learned the latest news involving Jacqui and Clint.
Sharing her initial reaction, Married At First Sight Australia star Awhina told 9Entertainment:
"I actually thought it was a joke at first, like an April Fools or something. We were all watching the Reunion live and I was like, 'No, they're not!'.... and then, after the revelation came along that it wasn't a joke, I just thought it was very Jacqui."

On April 6, 2025, Sunday night, Married At First Sight Australia participants, including Jacqui and Clint, were at a party hosted by So Dramatic! with some of their friends and fans. The male cast member popped the question, which Jacqui accepted, and the duo got engaged.
At another party hosted by Daily Mail Australia, their fellow cast mates, including Carina, Ryan, Jamie, Paul, and Awhina, were present. Soon, they learned about Clint's proposal and shared their thoughts. Awhina mentioned that initially, she thought it was a "joke" like an "April Fools."
The cast members learned about Jacqui and Clint's engagement while they were gathered to watch the Reunion. Another cast member, Carina, shared that Jamie was the first one to know, and then everyone learned about the news from her:
"She got off her phone and was like 'Guys, guys, what the hell? Clint proposed to Jacqui!' Obviously Ryan was in the room and he said 'Oh, I wish them all the best, not a ploy whatsoever."

"Everyone was quite shocked and quite confused but look, as long as they're happy and they got their happily ever after. They seem so loved up and we wish them all the best."
