Team Korea's Kim Dong-hyun and Amotti appeared on TEO's interview released on November 18, 2025. The two opened up about their time together on the Netflix show and getting to know each other.
During their conversation on various topics, Kim Dong-hyun shared how he got to know Amotti and then became close friends with him.
"I didn't know him at first. But he was amazing on the show. I wasn't working out as much at the time. But he really inspired me. It made me think I want to work out like he does," shared Kim Dong-hyun.

During the interview, Team Korea's Kim Dong-hyun noted that while they were arriving, Amotti was nervous. Amotti noted that he was a regular person and a YouTuber. Listening to him, Kim Dong-hyun mentioned that he was just a guy who liked sports.
The two faced various questions regarding their friendship and how they got to know each other.
"At first, he was an athlete I admired. He was like my idol," shared Amotti.
He mentioned that the two met on Physical: 100 Season 2. After that, they got to know each other better.
Physical: Asia star Kim Dong-hyun mentioned that he didn't know Amotti before the Netflix show.
"I didn't know Amotti before that...when people would talk about him, I'd be like, "Amotti?" When they announce the contestants, they go like, "Amotti." That was so accurate! Amotti? Is he not Korean? Because it's possible," said Kim Dong-hyun.
He added that after seeing Amotti, he was inspired by his workouts. He also wanted to start working out like him.
"So I went to the gym. As we were working out, I saw how much effort he put into his workouts. He works out every day, like he's training for the Olympics. It was mind-blowing. I was so inspired by that. That's when we became close friends," revealed Kim Dong-hyun.
The host then asked Kim Dong-hyun to describe Amotti. He responded that Amotti was great in social settings and had a great personality.
Physical: Asia star noted that he didn't like people who were only respectful to him. He mentioned seeing individuals' behavior with their juniors. However, Amotti had something that made him so likable.
When the show host mentioned that Amotti looked like a Japanese child actor, Amotti shared his thoughts on the topic. He noted that whenever he searched for his name on the internet, he would see search results including:
"Amotti nationality. Amotti mixed race. People would reach out and ask me if I'm Korean. I tell them I'm Korean."
Amotti noted that his parents, grandparents, and every family member he knew were all Korean. Further in the interview, they talked about Amotti's followers, his workout style, the headband he wears during his workouts, and more.
