Reddit user The_Wild_Silence, aka Will Wallace, commented,

"7 years of middle and high school Latin and I flub a DD on a Latin adjective ending. Eheu! Quam crudelis fatum est! Or something like that. It's probably wrong, because as we established today, my Latin grammar apparently got lost somewhere in the last two decades. I'll check the sofa cushions."

Many other Jeopardy! fans and fellow participants shared their views through the same Reddit discussion and discussed various questions and clues from the recently released episode.

Previous_Injury_8664 wrote about one of the questions and how Gen Z fans would think about it,

"That Aaron Burr question was everything to me. Gen Z will always associate him with Hamilton. I will always associate him with Got Milk."

Rye_bread_h replied and shared views on the same question,

"So sad I missed it. I remember my history teacher showing it to me. But all I could think of in the moment was "who shot JR?" which is... not it at all!"

Referring to another question of the episode, Idejtauren wrote about the Bart Simpson question and referred to the Simpsons movie,

"...so I'm pretty sure that the shot they used of Bart Simpson is from the Simpsons Movie, where he is entirely naked."

Tofu_nuggetz replied to that and wrote,

"I was just about to comment and ask why they chose a picture of Bart where he was naked."

Charrikayu added another comment and wrote,

"Probably because it was easily readable as him doing action on a skateboard, and cowabunga is easier to associate with that context than just a picture of Bart. If there's literally no other images of Bart riding a skateboard in 30 years of Simpsons seasons though, uh, I don't know."

Jaksiel shared how the actual "game performance" and "rehearsal" game on Jeopardy! are entirely different and shared views on the same,

"This game was evidence that rehearsal performance doesn't determine game performance. As I recall it, Will was completely dominant on the buzzer in rehearsal and Ian basically couldn't get in. Get to the actual game, and Ian had the buzzer figured out."

The contestants on Jeopardy! on October 28, 2024, were Ian Taylor, Will Wallace, and Heather Ryan. Ian emerged as the winner with a total of $19,601. Heather was at $19,600, just a dollar behind, while former champion Will dropped to $2.

The Reddit discussion board also shared a possible controversy in one of the clues, as it stated,

"There's some controversy about Bart Simpson's use of "cowabunga," from a 2021 Chicago Tribune article: "Antonia Coffman, chief publicist for 'The Simpsons,' views Bart's cowabunga connection as a stubborn urban myth. 'Bart may have used cowabunga once during the first season,' Coffman says, 'but what people really hear is Bart saying `Aye Carumba!' or `Don't have a cow, man!' Somehow, those two phrases are confused with cowabunga."

Jeopardy! fans also discussed the same clue and shared their views. User Idejtauren shared that the question was from the Simpsons Movie, while another user, tofu_nuggetz, asked why the game show featured the picture of Bart that saw him "naked."

Reddit users Charrikayu and Parkernorwood also shared their views on the same subject. The latter suggested that other images were available from the "intro sequence."
