Brooklyn, in Love After Lockup season 6, has had a crush on Brian since they were in high school and is finally able to explore the relationship with him.
However, the biggest trouble is his being incarcerated. She is trying to support him as much as is allowed to by the law but visibly feels sad when things do not go their way.
In the most recent Love After Lockup episode 3, she was seen trying to meet Brian in the middle as he was on his way to the halfway house with an officer. But things did not go according to plan as the car did not stop, and she was left wondering what happened.
Later, she went to the halfway house where Brian was being held and dropped off his belongings. As she took home his electronics, a huge shock was in store for her. She found a picture of a "random" girl on the back of the device's cover. Talking about the same, she said,
"First of all, you got this big b**ty b*tch on the back of your thing like you got me f*cked up. I wanna break it. I wanna break him."
Explaining her emotions and exactly what happened in a confessional, Brooklyn stated,
"Brian gives the people at the front desk the okay to give me some of his paperwork and his player tablet from prison. I see a picture of god knows who at the back of his player. Why the f*ck you got somebody random as hell on the back of your player and not me?"
Love After Lockup star Brooklyn and Brian's relationship explored
Brian and Brooklyn from Love After Lockup first met in high school, where she had a crush on him. They were not in a relationship at the time, but she says they had a bond and flirted with each other.
However, before their connection could be explored and moved forward, they graduated from high school, and Brian was arrested. He was incarcerated for aggravated robbery and possession of firearms and got six years.
The two have a mutual friend who acted as a middleman for their connection. Through that, their relationship became official.
Brooklyn is facing a little backlash from fans for the recent developments on Love After Lockup. Turns out, she had sent some money to Brian while he was in prison from her trust fund. Everyone on the internet thinks that it is a very bad idea, especially her brother Jermaine.
While talking to her, he asked about setting expectations in the relationship and warned his sister that if she kept caring for him, he would get comfortable and wouldn't find a job after getting out.
She currently works as a cheerleading and gym coach and has into some money after her mother passed on. She had set up a trust fund for her kids, which Brooklyn received and was using to pay for Brian's expenses.
In her defense, she stated that only recently has she started paying for Brian, and all these years, he has been taking care of himself in prison. The conversation with her brother went south, and thus, emotionally broken, Brooklyn called Brian, who reassured her about his love and commitment to the relationship.
