On October 3, 2023, the American procedural drama Found premiered on NBC and the unique show centers on Gabrielle "Gabi" Mosely, a crisis management and public relations specialist who heads a team to find missing people who have been ignored by law enforcement, media and the public.
Based on her own experiences, Gabi, an abduction survivor, leads the team. Shanola Hampton plays Gabi, while Brett Dalton, Kelli Williams, and other actors play supporting roles. The popular sitcom, which was written by Nkechi Okoro Carroll, was canceled after two seasons. It was nominated for multiple awards.
Many concerns remained at the conclusion of Found Season 2, particularly regarding Jamie's actual identity and the famous actor Parker Queenan has disclosed to Screenrant on May 16, 2025, that he was the only member of the cast that was aware of the truth from the very beginning of this unique show:
"I was the only one who knew. No one else in the cast was allowed to know who he was, and if he really was who he said he was. Everyone always had their theories. Is he this person? Is he lying? Is he holding something back? But they were fortunate enough to let me in on all the secrets."
More about the Found season 2
Many important tales are resolved in the Found season 2 finale, yet it left viewers with unresolved questions. In order to face the awful truth of her past, Gabi (Shanola Hampton) acknowledges that she was a kidnapper of Sir.
Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), meanwhile, finds himself in a bloody and dangerous situation with no idea what will happen to him. Fans were left wondering what might have happened next because NBC canceled the show before these plotlines could be fully developed.
Jamie's exact identity was one of the primary mysteries in the second season of Found. Margaret's (Kelli Williams) reunion with her long-lost son, Jamie, raises questions about whether he is genuinely who he claims to be. Parker Queenan, the actor who plays Jamie, just shared an intriguing behind-the-scenes revelation regarding the mystery.
He said that he was the only cast member who had known Jamie's actual identity from the beginning. When he first joined the program, the producers gave him all of the information regarding his character's past, while the rest of the actors remained in the dark.
In Season 2, Parker plays Margaret Reed's long-lost son, whose unexpected homecoming presents emotional and psychological issues for both characters. This solitude gave the performances an extra layer of honesty. The suspense was heightened by the other characters' genuine feelings, who had no idea if Jamie was speaking the truth.
Queenan went so far as to imply that he refused to cave in to pressure from some cast members to answer his questions. This intensified the excitement surrounding Jamie's identification while also keeping the mystery for both the participants and the audience.
