What to expect from FBI: Most Wanted Season 6?

Although an official trailer or outline plot for CBS's FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 hasn't been introduced, excitement in the series of pursuing dangerous criminals with a thrust of personal drama may still be highly anticipated. There is more than enough from the season 5 finale to build into the next season.

At the center of the show is Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge), who surprised his fiancée Cora (Caroline Harris) by marrying her in the season finale. Season 6 will probably show how that affects his work as a husband and stepfather and as an FBI agent.

Meanwhile, Remy Scott's relationship with Abby Deaver should be ongoing too, because the two went to Ray's wedding together. The audience will want to know if such love is enough to settle and last a while.

On the harder side, Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) continues to fight on with emotional effects of divorce filings from her wife. This season might explore the ways she'd be able to find time to grieve on her own and all the commitment she gives towards work.

Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten), now a mom, will continue to grapple with being an FBI agent and a mother. The personal subplots seen through the high-profile criminal cases in Season 6 promise a balance between action and emotions.

Recap of what happened in FBI: Most Wanted Season 5

Season 5 of FBI: Most Wanted had dramatic cases, personal victories, and heartaches. One of the most outstanding scenes was the last-minute marriage of Ray Cannon to Cora. It didn't all end in happiness, of course.

There was the famous break-up in season 4 between Sheryll Barnes and her wife, Charlotte Gaines, as she filed for divorce. That added a personal touch to what otherwise had become an action-packed FBI: Most Wanted season.

Professionally though, the Fugitive Task Force had to put up with the most serious cases it had ever faced including an attempt at a bomb plot to destroy New York City. Remy Scott led the team as always with relentless tenacity.

However, even he could not ignore his deep attraction for Abby, who he was now developing a crush on. Meanwhile, Hana Gibson (Keisha Castle-Hughes) and Ethan McPherson (Michael Raymond-James) continued their relationship, giving some insight into the personal lives of the agents on that team.

The ending was without cliffhangers, but kept some unanswered questions open, which makes fans eager to see further into the lives of these devoted agents.
