The concept of featuring Black Spoon chefs and the White Spoon chef in Culinary Class Wars has impressively paved the way for the South Korean show. The culinary showdown between the underdog cooks (Black Spoons) and elite chefs (White Spoons) is gathering all the attention of fans and viewers as the surviving contestants continue to cook under pressure.

Seven episodes have been released on the streaming giant, with the remaining to air on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The cooking competition is going viral for not only the culinary clash but also featuring two renowned chefs specializing in different culinary realms.

During the first round in Culinary Class Wars, the White Spoon chefs saw Black Spoon chefs battling through their dishes to enter the top 20 Black Spoon chefs. As the show progresses, viewers can see the elimination of cooks who failed to impress the judges with their dishes.

1) Chef Paik Jong-won

Chef Paik Jong-won is South Korea's celebrated restaurateur who has appeared in television shows. He owns The Born Korea restaurant and others, including Paik's Coffee, Saemaeul Sikdang, Hong Kong Banjeom 0410, and Hanshin Pocha.

2) Chef Ahn Sun-jae

Ahn Sun-jae is the only Korean chef to have received three Michelin stars for his famous restaurant MOSU. He specializes in dining and is set to open a new restaurant in his country. As seen in Culinary Class Wars, the cooks are finding it hard to impress the chef's taste buds.
