Emily in Paris Season 5 release date and plot details explored

As mentioned earlier, Season 5 of Emily in Paris will arrive on Thursday, December 18, 2025. What's even more exciting is that fans won't have to watch Part 1 first and then wait for the next, as Netflix will release all 10 episodes on the release date, making it a perfect series to binge-watch.
A new journey awaits Emily Cooper in Rome, as she will look after the new branch of Agence Grateau there. Interestingly, this will give her the chance to balance her work and new relationship with Marcello Muratori, the man she's dating in Season 4.
However, this doesn't mean that Paris won't remain a crucial part of Emily's life now. The creator made this clear and shared:
"Emily’s going to have a presence in Rome. It doesn’t mean she’s not going to be in Paris."
Collins also spoke about Emily in Paris Season 5 and expressed excitement over her character's new journey. She said:
"Marcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily because we ultimately want Emily to be able to have a better work/life balance."
When it came to how far Emily's relationship with Marcello will go, Collins said
"I feel like they have a real spark and a real connection and a real romantic connection. A lot of that’s going to continue to play out next season."
At the same time, Gabriel is also important to Emily and it would be intriguing to watch how she reacts after learning that he wants her back. The season won't just be about work and romance in Rome, but also never-ending drama in Cooper's life.
