The official synopsis of the upcoming episode reads:
"When a billionaire dies in a freak accident during a space training simulation, Elsbeth suspects a fellow magnate and wannabe astronaut with a grudge named Neal (Robert Riggle) is responsible. Also, Elsbeth’s day is turned upside down when she is reunited with a former colleague from Chicago.
Elsbeth Season 2 Episode 2 release schedule
As mentioned earlier, the second episode of season 2 will premiere on CBS at 10 PM ET on October 24, 2024. The release schedule of the other upcoming episodes is as follows:

- Episode 4: 'Elsbeth's Eleven' will air on November 7, 2024
Although the show has till now been technically confirmed only till episode 3, the audience can expect new episodes to air every week unless there are any unexpected delays involved in the release schedule.
The latest season is expected to consist of a total of twenty episodes, and might have a mid season break after episode 10. Nevertheless, there has been no confirmation in this regard from the producers.
It is noteworthy that season 2 will have double the amount of episodes that were there in season 1. Speaking about this incidence of packing a lot of material together, showrunner Jonathan Tollins spoke to CinemaBlend:
"Since we have a season that’s twice as long, we actually will have more than one (serialized story). It’s not easy, because we only have so much real estate in 43 minutes, and trying to keep all the balls in the air is a challenge”
