Apple TV’s Dope Thief premiered in March 2025 and is close to the finale episode, intensifying the last stretch of the crime drama.
Episode 6, titled Love Songs from Mars, will premiere on April 11, 2025. It will air at midnight ET on Apple TV+.
Based on Dennis Tafoya’s novel of the same name, the miniseries follows two long-time friends, Ray Driscoll (Brian Tyree Henry) and Manny Carvalho (Wagner Moura), who plan to steal from drug dealers to help themselves with money. They pose as DEA agents to carry out their plan but get into trouble when the real DEA agents catch up to them.

Dope Thief Episode 6 will premiere on Friday, April 11, 2025. It will air at midnight ET and 9 p.m. PT on Thursday on Apple+. The air times of the episode in different time zones are as follows:

What to expect from Dope Thief Episode 6?
After getting shot, Ray is saved by his father, Bart, who is on parole. However, the episode will be intense as the criminal organization from whom Ray and Manny had robbed are trying to get their revenge while the FBI is also closing in on them.
The synopsis of Episode 6, titled Love Songs from Mars, states that:
"Ray refuses to go to the hospital as the situation at Theresa’s house unfolds into chaos."
Bart might have saved Ray for the time being, but there might be more danger ensuing around him as the series nears its end.
What was Dope Thief Episode 5 about?
In the previous episode, titled Fear of God, we saw Manny trying to convince Ray to atone for his crimes but fails after he takes them to visit the farm where they killed people last time. However, they found out that the victims on the farm were actually criminals who used the Dutch farm for organizing their drug-related activities.
In the episode, we also see that Ray somehow manages to get away from the FBI due to Son Pham’s hints during an FBI set-up call. However, he is not entirely free from danger, as he gets shot in his leg when he visits his adoptive mother’s house.
This implies that Episode 6 won’t be short of more twists and turns and also action in Ray and Manny’s life.
