Doc Season 2 Episode 2 preview

In Doc Season 2, Episode 2, Felicity Huffman joins the cast as Dr. Joan Ridley, Amy’s former mentor, as per TV Insider. While Amy will reportedly continue to grapple with episodic flashbacks, it will involve Huffman, which will get in the way of her medical practice and personal interactions.
As Huffman shows up at Westside Hospital as the new Chief of Internal Medicine, it will stir unresolved issues between the two.
Meanwhile, Tell-Tale TV reports that Emma Pfitzer Price’s portrayal of a new intern, Hannah, will bring up disturbing family secrets. While her presence reportedly raises concerns among the staff, viewers will have to tune in to Episode 2 for the detailed storyline.
Amy is resolved to discover more of her forgotten memories despite being warned by her colleagues. She persuades Dr. Gina Walker to deliver treatments, though the procedure seems physically strenuous as Amy suffers a nosebleed, as seen in the promo.
On the other hand, TJ Coleman, who was shot in Episode 1, is undergoing surgery. He is shown in a wheelchair and seems to be dissatisfied with his current state, Geek Sided reports.
The relationship between Amy and Dr. Jake Heller is tense. In the promo, Jake is talking to a woman in a flirtatious way, and this is noticed by Amy. She wishes she could reconcile with him following the kiss she had with Dr. Michael Hamda, but Jake does not appear receptive yet.
In conversation with TV Insider, Molly Parker explains:
“Relationships need to transform. With Michael, the attachment is so deep, in the way that one is attached to someone who has been your family and your person. The relationship with Jake is fascinating. This year, we’re getting to meet his daughter, his father, and so we’re getting to understand him. He’s not just this lovesick hot doctor.”
As the Doc Season 2 goes on, viewers will have to wait to see how many of the many unresolved storylines will be resolved, either positively or negatively.
