However, soon, she pulled him to chat and explained that she didn't want to get back with him. Fans must remember Kye's arrival in the villa shook Yana because of their past relationship.
After the elimination, Yana asked Kye to have a private chat. She told him that she chose him because he had a connection in the villa. She was referring to Lacey.
Love Island Australia star Yana also told him that since Cooper didn't have a connection in the villa, she didn't choose him.
"Before anything, I just want to let you know, I didn't pick you to be with you. I picked you because I know that you have a connection in here, and I want you to pursue that. 'Cause I know she likes you a lot and you like her a lot. And I know that Cooper didn't really have a connection here, and I wouldn't feel comfortable...trying to get a connection with him," said Yana.
