Netflix is all set to premiere Love is Blind Season 7 on October 2, 2024. The dating reality show, which the platform describes as a "social experiment, features individuals looking for their potential romantic connection.
Both male and female cast members enter the show with an open mind and go on blind dates from separate "pods." After getting to know and forming bonds with fellow participants gradually, they are supposed to narrow down their choices to one.
After being sure about one partner, the participants get engaged without ever meeting their partners physically. Only after the engagement do they meet their potential fiance face-to-face.
People magazine recently released an exclusive sneak peek. It features two participants in the form of Stephen Richardson, 34, and Monica Davis, 37.
The duo can be seen talking about "cheating" and being "cheated on" in a relationship. While Stephen shared his definition of "cheating," Monica shared her views as well.
"I basically slid into a girl's DMS like a dumb***, and we were flirting with intention. You're emotionally cheating at that point. I got caught, which I knew I would. I was very disappointed with myself."
While Stephen felt that he cheated "emotionally" on his partner, he also opened up about being "cheated" on.
Love is Blind Season 7 stars Stephen and Monica open up
Monica and Stephen could be seen confiding in each other while on the show. Despite being unable to see each other, the two of them conversed through a wall between them.
Love is Blind star Stephen initiated the conversation, which he considered his "secret." He referred to it as something he was "not very" proud of.
"Here's what I believe: you like someone for their qualities, but you love someone for their flaws," shared Stephen.
While Monica agreed with him, she said she had always been "drawn to flaws." Stephen, at the risk of being judged, shared more about his last relationship.
The 34-year-old electrician told Monica he wanted to be "honest."
"I technically hold the title of being a cheater. I've been cheated on multiple times as well," admitted Stephen.
Stephen spoke about his former partner, whom he thought he didn't deserve.
"Everyone has a different concept of cheating. One person's could be, you know, looking at someone. Someone else's could be an actual physical act," explained Stephen.
He shed light on how he messaged someone else and cheated "emotionally" on his girlfriend. The Love is Blind star accepted that he was "disappointed" with himself. Later, he and his partner also went through therapy and figured things out.
Upon learning about Stephen's past and his perspective of "cheating," Monica assured him that not everything was "black and white." The sales executive appreciated Stephen's ability to share.
"I really appreciate you sharing with me, and I want you to feel like you can tell me anything. We're all human. I'm 36 years old, like, it's not so black and white. The experiences that I've had to deal with from cheating are — they are really gross, and very, very bad."
The Love is Blind star also mentioned that no matter what type of "those situations" she encountered, she always found a "path to forgiveness."
Fans can stream Love is Blind Season 7 on Netflix to learn more about Monica and Stephen and whether they have formed an even deeper connection. The social experiment will premiere on October 2, 2024.
