Daredevil: Born Again- Is there something going on between Punisher and Karen? Relationship explored 

As the first season of Daredevil: Born Again comes to an end, the season finale episode, Straight to Hell indicates something brewing between the Punisher and Karen Page. Matt Murdock can hear the lightest of sounds, including heartbeats. In the season finale of Daredevil: Born Again, Matt hears Frank Castle's aka The Punisher's heartbeat increase when he is around Karen Page. He notices Karen's heartbeat increases in Frank's presence, too.

The second season of Daredevil: Born Again is in production and will hopefully arrive soon. The season finale of the first season hinted at The Punisher and Karen Page having feelings for each other, which might be further explored in season 2. At the end of Straight to Hell, the Punisher escapes from the cage at Red Hook port, where Wilson Fisk had confined him, indicating that the second season will heavily focus on him as well.

Punisher and Karen might make it official in Daredevil: Born Again season 2

There has been some romantic and s*xual tension between the Punisher (played by John Bernthal) and Karen Page (played by Deborah Ann Wolf) for quite some time. However, they have not dated or expressed their feelings to each other.

Punisher and Karen first met in the second season of the original Daredevil series. Karen was Nelson & Murdock's secretary. After the Punisher attacked an Irish mob, the only survivor of the attack asked Nelson, Murdock, and Page to protect him from the Punisher.

Frank Castle gets arrested without resistance, but instead of working against him, Karen becomes part of his legal defense team and represents him at his trial. She had done her research on him, and after learning more, had decided to be friends rather than enemies. That is how their journey started.

Karen helped the Punisher multiple times in Daredevil season 2 and both seasons of The Punisher in various investigations, and he saved her in The Punisher season 1. Their relationship was portrayed as platonic, but viewers could clearly see some romantic tension between the two. However, neither of them expresses their feelings explicitly. Fans anticipated that something more would develop between the two when, after a vulnerable conversation, Castle kissed Page on her cheek, and when they almost kissed after Castle saved Page's life.

In Daredevil: Born Again season finale, Matt Murdock hears both Frank Castle and Karen Page's heartbeat rise in each other's presence. However, things get complicated when Page's heartbeat increases in the presence of Matt as well. It means she has feelings for both Frank and Matt. Thus, it is hard to tell with whom Karen Page might pursue a romantic relationship in the second season.

Karen Page and Matt Murdock had dated for a while in Daredevil season 2, however, we do not know if they will try dating again in Daredevil: Born Again season 2. MCU has confirmed Frank's and Karen's feelings for each other after keeping us guessing for three shows and four seasons. It would be a little strange if creators do not delve deeper into Frank and Karen's relationship. Hopefully, season two of Daredevil: Born Again will answer all doubts.
