Dancing with the Stars season 33 is left with 9 celebrities as episode 4 followed a double-elimination, and sent Reginald VelJohnson and Eric Roberts home. Episode 4, Hair Metal Night was the second half of a two-night special episode and went live on October 8, 8 pm ET on ABC and Disney+.
The show's schedule was tweaked due to the Presidential Election Debate, making this week a two-episode special.
Episode 3, Soul Train had no eliminations, therefore, 2 celebrities had to face elimination for the latest episode. In the Hair Metal Night, contestants had to perform dance sequences on iconic Rock and Roll anthems ranging from bands like Aerosmith, Twisted Sister, and Whitesnake.
Gene Simmons, co-lead singer and bassist of the band Kiss, appeared as a guest judge.
For elimination, the judges' total of both the nights and the audience's vote combined were the deciding factors for who was going home. Reginald and Emma stood at 42 out of 80 points, and Eric and Stewart received 46 out of 80 points from the judges, making them the bottom two.

Dancing with the Stars season 33 airs new episodes every Tuesday, but for week 3, ABC rescheduled episode 3 from October 1 to October 7 due to the Presidential Debate.
The show turned episodes 3 and 4 into a two-night special and followed a double elimination in each episode. Family Matters star Reginald VelJohnson and Oscar nominee Eric Roberts face the wrath of double elimination on October 8.
Anna Delvery and Tori Spelling were eliminated in the first double-elimination of Dancing with the Stars on September 24. After 4 celebrities were eliminated from the show, only 9 were left to compete for the prestigious Mirror Ball Trophy.
Ilona Maher along with partner Alan Bersten was in the bottom three with Reginald and Eric. Ilona was not satisfied with her performance in episode 4 and scored 56 out of 80.
However, it was not her last performance in Dancing With the Stars, and she was sent back to the safe zone with her partner. Here are the combined scoreboard of all the contestants after episode 4's performances:

Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater have been a fan favorite irrespective of Reginald's dance skills. The judges all appreciated Reginald's spirit from the very first episode. Carrie Ann Inaba told him after his first performance:
"You blow my mind, there is something about you. You are doing the fewest amount of steps of anyone in this competition but we’re all with you!”
Reginald's score in the first two episodes was 42 out of 80, and Emma Slater was more than happy by getting 6s. Eric Roberts on the other hand impressed the judges with his determination. He scored a total of 46 out of 80 in the first two episodes.
Derek Hough told him:
"I love your determination and your spirit. You pour your heart and soul into it.”
Dancing with the Stars episode 5, Dedication Night will air on October 15, on ABC at 8 pm ET.
