Hulu recently released a much-awaited dance show, Dance Moms: A New Era, on August 7, 2024. The Hulu original series features Miss Glo, a.k.a. Gloria Hampton and eight of her skilled dancers, who are between the ages of 8 and 13. These include national title holders and even Broadway stars.
Along with the little dancers, their moms are also associated with their dancing journey. Dance Moms: A New Era focuses on Studio Bleu, located in Ashburn, VA, where Miss Glo replaced long-time dance teacher, Abby Lee Miller.

Gloria Hampton
Popularly known among her students as Miss Glo, she previously won Star Dance Alliance Teacher of the Year in 2022. She has been part of the show since 2013 and is a well-known name among fans of the Hulu show. While training Blue Junior Elites, she is also a national Dance One judge.
Ashlan with her mom Lisa
Ashlan, 11, has been training under Miss Glo for about six years and, as a result of her hard work and dedication, has also won various scholarships and awards. Ashlan’s mom, Lisa, describes herself as a part-time dance mom, part-time digital advertiser, and part-time soccer mom.
Audrey with her mom Tammi
Since 4 years of age, Audrey has been under the tutelage of Miss Glo. In 2022, she debuted on Broadway through “The Music Man,” featuring Hugh Jackman. She has also won various national and regional titles. Her mom, Tammi, homeschools her daughter.
Bellatrix with her mom Roxce
Bellatrix, 11, has been associated with dancing since she was five and is popular for her flexibility skills. Her mom, Roxce, shared that Bellatrix "has been dancing since she was in the womb."
Isabella 'Smiley' with her mom Domenica
Isabella, also popular as Smiley, joined Miss Glo when she was six, and they moved to Virginia. Isabella keeps moving from Virginia to New York to manage her dance training and modeling for renowned brands. Her mother, Domenica, raced competitively earlier and had an impressive career in Ecuador.
Leilah Bell with her mom Leslie
Leilah Bell, 10, started dancing at the age of 3 and joined Studio Bleu when she was 5. When she was 7, Leilah made her solo debut and became a finalist on SDA Nationals. Her mother, Leslie, is a working mom and shared that she wouldn’t miss any chance to "see her baby shine."
Lily with her mom Corinne
Lily, 11, started her dance training at the age of three and has won prestigious titles, including National Miss Nextstar, 1st Overall Advanced Soloist, and many others. Currently, at the age of 11, Lily is also the ambassador for Dance Hope Cure, which raises awareness for childhood cancer. Her mother left her digital marketing career to support Lily full-time.
Gina with her mom Jing
Gina, 11, started dancing when she was 6 and has received the Dance Artistry award twice. Her mother, Jing, shared that dancing benefits a child’s physical beauty and temperament, and having dance training also helps build persistence and discipline.
Mina with her mom Min
Mina, 8, is the youngest cast member of Dance Moms: A New Era and is also on the Bleu Junior Elites team. She started getting dance training at the age of four and dreams of becoming a professional ballerina. Her mother, Min, is an IT professional who shares that she also possesses the same precision and energy as Mina.
