Coach Michael Bublé has done it again for the second time on The Voice. Adam David, under his guidance, has won season 27, and it is no minor feat. The singer, as reminded by host Carson, is a product of 'save' and this is the first time one of them has ever won an entire season.
The Voice dropped its season 27 finale on May 20, 2025. It involved performances from the coaches as well as the contestants and ultimately, the crowning of the winner. The episode included a variety of special guests amidst the rounds as well.
Now, fans of The Voice, who have been following the journey of all the contestants since day 1 of the season, took to X to express their opinion about Adam David winning.
He is conventionally older than the rest of the singers, and given the fact that he was saved by "save," makes his victory feel even more earned, because he might not be the fan favorite, but Adam had put in the work and deserved the win. A fan on Twitter said,
"Adam David might not have been my first choice, but I can’t be mad. That dude can sing fs"
"Ever since that instant save from last week by Adam David, he sang like his life depended on it. Cant even be mad he won," wrote another fan.
"Adam David in my opinion gave the best performances tonight. He is the only one that moved me with emotion. I like Renzo a lot too, but his songs didn’t touch me," read a tweet.
"Adam David is the real deal and deserved to win but Renzo should have been 2nd. They got the rest right," expressed a fan.
"As a florida-native myself, i rooted for adam david. his backstory, his raw live vocals, the depth he carries… of course he won." wrote a fan.
The Voice season 27 crowns Adam David as the winner
All four coaches assembled for The Voice finale and have an equal shot at winning the season. The team was of Kelsea Ballerini, Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, and John Legend. The finale was shot in two parts, and five finalists were running for victory. They were;
Renzo from Team Legend, Jadyn Cree from Team Adam, Jadyn Cree from Team Bublé, Lucia Flores Wiseman from Team Adam, and Adam David from Team Bublé. If we look at it, the odds of Team Bublé winning with two contestants on the stage were higher than the rest of the judges.
During the second part of the finale, The Voice featured the contestants singing duets with their respective coaches. This was preceded by two solo songs during the first part.
Then, during the concluding moments, the entire group of five got together to sing "Pompeii" by Bastille. Various artists and returning champions from the previous season joined during the episode and gave their performances.
Soon, it was time to crown the winner, and it was Adam David. He is 34 years old right now and hails from Fort Lauderdale in Florida. His win marked a second win for Coach Michael Bublé. He has constantly supported the singer on his journey, and the finale was no less.
The Voice season 27 can be streamed online via Peacock.
