Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Episode 7 is titled "Course N° 7 Dongnae Pajeon on a Rainy Day" and the synopsis reads:
"In order to gain an edge in the cooking competition, Ji-young sets out to create a unique pot. However, finding the right craftsman proves difficult."
Episode 7 begins with Ji-young and the other royal chefs discussing the dishes to be presented in the cooking competition. During this time, Ji-young introduces the pressure cooker using a drawing and explains how it works.
The chefs are a bit confused, but they believe the chief royal cook. Later, Ji-young asks the King to grant her permission to go outside the palace and meet the descendant of Jang Yeong-sil, who was one of the King's favorite inventors.
The King initially allows Ji-young to go with Song-jae, but later decides to accompany her. They're all disguised as men, but Jang Chun-saeng (the descendant) figured out that Ji-young is a woman.
Prince Jesan learns about the majesty of being out of the palace and uses it to craft a plan to ensure Joseon loses the upcoming culinary battle. At the same time, the female Ming chef reaches out to him, offering an exchange of a valuable ingredient with chilli powder that Ji-young is supposed to use as a special ingredient in her dish.
As the Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Episode 7 continues, assassins arrive at Jang Chun-saeng's place to kill Ji-young. A fierce battle takes place, and Chun-saeng uses his inventions to fight against them.
The King also fights the men sent to hurt Ji-young, and Song-jae also arrives on time. Thanks to the head Min chef, who informed Song-jae about the threat to Ji-young's life. The competiton day is here, and Ji-young, along with everyone else, safely reaches the palace.
