All's Fair Episode 6 recap: Power, loss & broken trust

Was Allura pregnant in All's Fair?

All's Fair episode 6 begins with a judge going through the divorce of Allura and Chase. Carrington has no choice but to forward her new goal, and she wants to seize Allura's company. As Carrington waits in the office of Allura, he begins to fuss about the appearance of Chase. All's Fair displays the scenes of snogging between Carrington and Chase, though there is no chemistry.

Carrington provides Chase with a tissue with wasabi to help him cry in hopes of being sympathized with in court. Allura walks away crying when she realizes that her embryos failed and she has not conceived. All's Fair gives a true account of loss and disappointment. Dina intended to mend their friendship, but she regretted that Allura didn’t open out to her in the past.

Carington's plan against Allura

One of the main themes of the sixth episode of All's Fair is Allura's plan for retaliation. She is interested in stealing the company, as she is entitled to power. Carrington's risky choices illustrate how ambition can mislead a person. The series introduces the viewers to a character of Carrington (played by Sarah Paulson) who accuses her friends of shunning her.

The episode relates to Carrington's motivations and demonstrates how friendship might have improved her as a person. Instead, her loneliness makes her compete cynically. The series depicted the decisions made by Carrington to show how jealousy and past wounds can gain power and lead to even greater issues.

Could Dina handle her pain?

In episode 6 of All's Fair, Dina (played by Glenn Close) is dealing with severe stress. The illness of her husband becomes worse, and she must choose between obligation and heartbreak. The series places Dina in the middle and displays how she attempts to juggle her workplace and her husband. Like the other women, Dina tries to avoid expressing herself and showing signs of personal suffering at work.

All's Fair exposes her power, yet she is sad. Although she is prepared to help Allura, there is something about her own family that she finds appealing. We understand from Dina in All's Fair that when family issues conflict with significant professional situations, the most pressing demand must be met.
