April's Story Recap
April's Story Recap

The previous episode, April's Story, followed April, a nurse and mother who struggled to care for her special needs son, Wyatt, while working full-time. April faced a trial in court, awaiting her sentencing for a road rage incident.

Her husband, Jake, and her lawyer suggested bringing Wyatt to the hearing to gain sympathy from the judge, but April did not like the idea. The episode then flashed back to the day of the accident. April had been overwhelmed from trying to manage both her job and Wyatt’s care, with little help from Jake.

That day, she had a minor confrontation with Tyler, a rude driver, after a small parking lot incident. What started as a minor argument escalated into a dangerous car chase that ended in a crash, resulting in Tyler’s death.

April was arrested for reckless driving. In court, she gave an honest speech about her actions and how stressed she had been. Even though she apologized and took responsibility, she was sentenced to three years in prison. The episode ended with April saying an emotional goodbye to Wyatt.
