The latest America's Got Talent Season 20's sixth night of the auditions aired on July 8, 2025. It featured many brilliant performances, including 10-year-old Bay Melnick Virgolino.

Since the age of five, he was "obsessed" with the guitar and started learning from his mom. For his America's Got Talent Season 20 performance, Bay Melnick Virgolino performed Are You Gonna Go My Way from Lenny Kravitz.

Everyone was surprised by his powerful performance, where he carried a guitar that was bigger than he was. Witnessing the musical performance, AGT judge Howie Mandel applauded and said:

"There's no question. I don't have to say anything. This audience just said it. You are amazing. You are memorable. You are like a rockstar, you really are."

America's Got Talent Season 20: Bay Melnick Virgolino's brilliant musical performance

America's Got Talent Season 20 Episode 6 featured Bay Melnick Virgolino, a 10-year-old guitarist from New York. He performed Lenny Kravitz's Are You Gonna Go My Way. Seeing such a young boy delivering a fantastic performance, the judges were speechless.

The audience also cheered for Bay Melnick Virgolino as he left everyone stunned. After his performance ended, his parents, along with the host Terry Crews, were still cheering him. While judges also applauded him, Simon Cowell gave him a standing ovation.

"I think Lenny Kravitz would be so proud of you. Literally, and you got so into it, and did all those riffs. I felt it. I really like that bit," said Mel B.

America's Got Talent judge Howie Mandel said there was no question. He added that he didn't have to say anything, as the audience "just said it" with their loud cheers. Howie added that he was a "rockstar" and "memorable."

Sophia Vergara said that he was one of the "coolest kids" she had ever met, who was 10 years old:

"You are a little mini tiny little superstar," added Sophia.

Fellow judge Simon Cowell said that he could relate because of his son Eric, who "just learned" how to play drums. Simon talked about how he and his parents must be feeling after such a performance, because it was "so good."

"And importantly, you're having the best time you've ever had, aren't you?"

Bay Melnick Virgolino responded with his "yep."

Simon then asked fellow judges for their decisions, which were a "yes" from Howie, Mel B, and Sophia. He then turned to the audience and asked their opinion. Everyone cheered even louder for Bay Melnick Virgolino.

As he left the stage and went backstage, America's Got Talent Season 20 host Terry Crews was there. He asked him if he was ready to get his life "changed."
