A Man on the Inside Season 2 Episode 7 cast and characters: Here’s who brought ‘Group Project’ to life

A Man on the Inside Season 2 finds Charles, portrayed by Ted Danson, on a new undercover mission as he unravels the truth behind a laptop theft at Wheeler College. The secretive investigation reveals a much bigger blackmail plot in play. Episode 7 of the series will see a star-studded cast coming together to take the story forward, including Stephanie Beatriz, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada and Stephen Henderson, among others.

A Man on the Inside Season 2 Episode 7 titled ‘Group Project’ will find Charles and Julie will inform Holly that the theft may be a way to slow down the deal. In order to get their hands on Vinick’s phone, Charles will put together a team during the class reunion. The plan will have the team taking on different jobs to get the files on the phone. What follows is a chaotic heist.

The logline for the episode states,

Charles turns a class reunion into a high-stakes heist, complete with code names, sleight-of-hand and a crew of operatives with more heart than skill.

A Man on the Inside Season 2 Episode 7 cast

Ted Danson as Charles Nieuwendyk – Charles is a retired professor, who is recruited by a private investigator, Julie, to go undercover in a new case in A Man on the Inside Season 2. Ted Danson is also known for his roles in Cheers and The Good Place.

Lilah Richcreek Estrada as Julie Kovalenko– When Jack Beringer reaches out to Julie about the suspicious case at Wheeler College, she seeks Charles’ help once more. Lilah Richcreek Estrada has also been in The Wonder Years and Chicago Med.

Gary Cole as Brad Vinick – When billionaire Brad Vinick decides to give a huge donation to his former college, things take a new turn. Gary Cole has also been in Veep, Small Crimes and NCIS.

Mary Steenburgen as Mona Margadoff – A music teacher at Wheeler, Mona becomes a crucial part of the investigation as Charles unravels the secrets behind the case. Mary Steenburgen has also been in Book Cluband The Proposal.

Mary Elizabeth Ellis as Emily – Charles’ daughter, Emily, is one of his biggest supporters. In the new season, Charles finds himself in her former college. Mary Elizabeth Ellis has also been in other successful projects such as New Girl, Santa Clarita Diet, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Stephen McKinley Henderson as Calbert Graham – One of Charles’ friends, Calbert will gives share his expert advice on the new case in A Man on the Inside Season 2. Stephen McKinley Henderson has also appeared in Lady Bird, The Madness and Fences.

Kerry O’Malley as Megan Chagughlaight-Accourse – Megan plays a significant role in the investigation. She is Julie’ assistance at the PI firm. Kerry O’Malley has also been in The Killer and Watson.

Max Greenfield as Jack Beringer - Jack Beringer is the president of the college, who contacts a private investigator after his laptop is stolen. Max Greenfield is known for his roles in New Girl, The Neighborhood and Running Point.

Constance Marie as Vanessa – Julie’s mother, Venessa, use to be a scamster. She also becomes a part of Charles’ new case. Constance Marie is known for With Love and Puss in Boots.

Stephanie Beatriz as Didi – Didi, community director at the Pacific View residence, becomes entangled in Charles’s plan. Stephanie Beatriz has also appeared in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Encanto, Hazbin Hotel and Modern Family.
