A Man on the Inside is Netflix's newest comedy from Mike Schur, the creator and writer of sitcoms like The Office, Brooklyn 99, and The Good Place.

1) Ted Danson as Charles
Danson previously partnered with creator Mike Schur on 'The Good Place,' where he played the role of 'good place' architect Michael. A versatile actor, Danson is a two-time Emmy winner with credits including Cheers, Becker, Bored to Death, Damages, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
He plays Charles, a recently retired widower who finds an ad in a newspaper and gets a new job opportunity as an undercover agent at a retirement home.

2) Stephanie Beatriz as Didi
Another actor reuniting with Schur on his next is Stephanie Beatriz. She played Rosa Diaz on Schur's Brooklyn 99 and voiced the character of Mirabel in Encanto.
Her other projects include Short Term 12 and The Legend of Vox Machina. She was also recently seen on Twisted Metal.
Beatriz joins A Man on the Inside cast as Didi, the strict but very dedicated managing director of the Pacific View Retirement Residence.
3) Mary Elizabeth Ellis as Emily
Ellis is best known for being a waitress in the sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, where she also played the love interest of her real-life husband, Charlie Day.
She is a familiar face in many sitcoms and has appeared in titles such as Santa Clarita Diet, Licorice Pizza, and New Girl.
She joins A Man on the Inside cast as Emily, Charles' daughter. She is married with three children and is taken aback at her father's new job at the retirement house.
4) Lilah Richcreek Estrada as Julie
Estrada is best known for playing Dr. Nellie Cuevas on Chicago Med. Her work credits include The Wonder Years, Dave, Grace and Frankie, and Cougar Town. She began her acting career in 2009, and her role at Chicago Med gave her widespread recognition.
She plays Julie on the show, the private investigator who hires Charles. She also pretends to be his daughter at the retirement home.
