In the series, we will see the seven bears living among the fairytales that we are familiar with, but their presence in these fairytales might result in some whimsical and altered narratives as they try to help the protagonists of the fairytales, such as Cinderella and Snow White, among others.

As per IMDb, actress Tiffany Hofstetter has voiced the bears, in both English and French, in 7 Bears Season 1, and Mia Sinclair Jenness has voiced the character of Snow White. Apart from them, no other cast members have been revealed yet.

Folivari animation studio has created the series with Guillaume Rio as the director and Robert Vargas as the showrunner.

At the Annecy Film Festival 2025, director Guillaume Rio talked about how they had to subdue the content of the Émile Bravo books as they were a little too dark, and they aimed to create a family-friendly series.

Showrunner Robert Vargas also added that the bears were inspired by Ewoks, which helped them in making the characters humorous and joyful.

He further joked about their collective thinking and said:

"The 7 Bears all progress as one, with one brain for all."

Actress Tiffany Hofstetter also shared insights about the series and said:

"It was a great honor. I fell in love with this series."

She continued:

"They are identical bears. But each bear has a different personality depending on the episode and the situation. We found that together."
