President Donald Trump has spoken to reporters and mentioned that he will be present for Charlie Kirk's memorial service. The service will be held in Arizona at the State Farm Stadium on September 21. Before hopping on a flight to New York, Donald Trump told the reporters:

"Whenever it is, I'll be going... They've asked me to go, and I think I have an obligation to do it."

He also mentioned his conversation with Erika Kirk and said that she is "absolutely devastated."

Trump will not be the only right-wing leader attending the memorial. Vice President JD Vance will also be attending, as well as Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Why is Charlie Kirk's memorial service held in Arizona?

Arizona was a special place to Charlie Kirk. It was where he lived with his wife and two children. At the same time, it is the headquarters of Turning Point USA, an organization that he co-founded.

In Turning Point USA's tribute to Charlie, they wrote:

"Charlie Kirk's life was a testament to faith, courage, and conviction. From his earliest days, he believed America was worth fighting for, and he dedicated every moment of his 31 years to that cause. He lived with eyes fixed on eternity, grounded in the truth of God’s Word, and driven by a calling bigger than himself."

It continued to speak about how Turning Point USA started:

"What began as the vision of an 18-year-old in a small garage in Lemont, Illinois, grew into one of the most powerful grassroots movements in America. Through Turning Point USA, Charlie ignited a fire in the hearts of tens of millions daily. He showed a generation that truth must never be silenced, that courage is contagious, and that freedom must be protected at all costs."

They concluded by quoting a verse from the Bible. It reads:

"Charlie's life was short, but it was full. It was defined by truth, anchored in faith, and devoted to the country he loved. His legacy will endure for generations. And now he hears the words of Matthew 25:23 from his Lord and Savior: 'Well done, good and faithful servant.'"

What did Erika say during her tribute to her husband, Charlie Kirk?

Erika Kirk went live to address her husband's death and to read her tribute. The 36-year-old widow began by thanking those who tried to help save her husband's life on that fateful day, and for ensuring no one else got hurt.

She said:

"My husband's voice will remain...Mr President, my husband loved you. And he knew that you loved him too... But most of all, Charlie loved his children. And he loved me. With all his heart. And he made sure I knew that every day."

Erika Kirk added:

"You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife, the cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry... They should all know this: if you thought that my husband's mission was powerful before you have no idea, you have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country and this world."

Charlie Kirk's memorial service will be held at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona. Those who wish to attend the memorial service can register on the official Turning Point USA website.
