Fans are discussing Vikkstar as he shared his opinion on what has been the most difficult challenge from Sidemen yet.
In a clip circulating online, the influencer can be seen discussing what he thought was the biggest challenge in being one of the UK's seven biggest content creators, better known as the Sidemen. When probed about the "toughest challenge for a video," he said:
"One of the toughest challenges in a Sidemen video was actually when we tried to visit as many countries as we could in 24 hours. Just because staying awake and active throughout the night, kind of planning, making travel plans, and doing challenges was just mentally pretty exhausting."
Fans have since begun dissecting the clip, with some even claiming Vikkstar may not be as popular as he thinks he is. Here's one such tweet in question, for instance:
"Who watches sidemen?"
The comments and quippy remarks didn't end there:
"Absolute legend that man is," someone defended.
"He is lying! The toughest challenge is handling KSI as much as they can, to avoid being cancelled!" another exclaimed.
"Vikk always seemed like a cool guy," a third user opined.
"If it was easy, it wouldn’t be a Sidemen challenge," someone else noted.
Here's how the rest of X is reacting:
"I think his hardest challenge was defending his use of AI in that sh*tty music video for his sh*tty song?" one snappy user remarked.
"Who, over the age of 11, gives a single f*ck?" another spewed.
"He can play Warzone for 24 hours tho," someone else pointed out.
"Vikkstar cool guy," yet another opined.
Users online were visibly divided, though a large number of them dissed the content creator.
Who is Vikkstar and the Sidemen? Here's all we know
Just last month, Vikkstar, real name Vikram Barn, made headlines when he took to Tomorrowland to debut his latest single, Chemical— an electronic dance music iteration. The high-energy track also marked the internet personality's Tomorrowland debut overall.
For the unversed, Vikkstar is most known as a member of the Sidemen, where he has spent over 11 years creating and curating content for its audience, which comprises millions. The group comprises Vikkstar, KSI, Miniminter, TBJZL, Behzinga, Zerkaa, and Wroetoshaw.
Barn began his career in gaming, having uploaded videos playing Call of Duty and Minecraft on YouTube. Speaking with LAD Bible in October 2024, he reflected on the decisions he made before arriving at his current career. Noting that he was leaning towards Natural Sciences at UCL, he decided to give YouTube a shot for a year. Soon enough, he gained "a few 100,000 subscribers."
"After three years of deferring, I thought, I'm probably not ever going to go," he said.
At the time of writing, the group's channel boasts over 15 billion views and 37 million subscribers across all its channels.
Reflecting on how long the group will make it, he told the outlet:
"It's impossible to predict how long it may or may not last. But at the moment, we have a bigger production team, bigger production budgets, and the ability to do more than we've ever had before, and everyone's really enjoying it, so it's impossible to predict how long it will last."
He also acknowledged that in the online world, "nothing is too structured or planned."
