Popular TikTok influencer Kayla Malecc recently came forward with serious allegations against her former partner, fellow creator Evan Johnson. In an Instagram post that felt heavy with raw emotion, Malecc shared that she endured a very abusive relationship for nearly nine months. She is sharing these painful, harrowing truths, shedding the light of truth on all the pain and suffering.
On April 4, 2025, Malecc released a YouTube video titled "he doesn't love you." This series provided deeper insights into the alleged abuse she faced. She detailed multiple distressing incidents, including a claim that Johnson, while intoxicated, once punched his windshield in anger and regularly subjected her to verbal abuse throughout their relationship.

One of the most shocking claims in Kayla Malecc's video was about an incident on August 9, 2024. According to Malecc, Johnson allegedly became physically violent while they were in an Uber, slapping her across the face. She recounted the traumatic event, saying he appeared emotionless, and at one point, he hit her so hard that her lip was left with teeth imprints. She couldn't eat food for three long days because the impact was that strong. Kayla Malecc said,
"There was no soul in his eyes, they were empty....I'm just in shock that he's standing on, slapping me in the face. At this point he punches me in the face to the point where there was teeth indents in my lip. I couldn't eat for 3 days because like my jaw felt like it had unclicked."
Following Malecc’s revelations, the online community reacted strongly. Advocate Gabi Galvan has put up a petition on Change.org calling out Johnson's arrest and legal action. The petition called Johnson out as this narcissistic abuser and asked the authorities to deny bail. Within a very short time indeed, it managed to rack up more than 1,500 signatures.
As the case discussion heated up, there turned out to be more details about Johnson's legal status. Reports surfaced on social media, particularly in the LA Influencer Snark subreddit, showing a mugshot of Johnson. He was reportedly arrested on April 7, facing charges of domestic assault and probation violation. His bail was set at $3,000.
Meanwhile, in a TikTok video shared by user @zacksellars, recorded in February 2025, Johnson appeared to address the accusations. He wondered how Malecc could stay with him if he was truly as bad as Malecc says he is sometimes. Additionally, he alleged that their relationship was mutually toxic, suggesting that verbal abuse occurred on both sides.
