"Wait, didn't they just release it today?" : Fans stunned as Dua Lipa poses with iPhone 17 Pro shortly after Apple event

Soon after the launch event, Apple shared a joint Instagram post with Dua Lipa, in which the singer captures a day in her life on iPhone 17 Pro. The mini clip posted on September 9 presented behind-the-scenes footage of Dua Lipa's ongoing 'Radical Optimism' tour. In the collaborative post, the music artist can be seen waking up and then getting ready for her stage performance.

Last year, the tech giant collaborated with The Weeknd and shared a video of Dancing In The Flames, shot on iPhone 16 Pro. In 2024, Apple collaborated with Dua Lipa to promote its newly launched iPhone 17 Pro. The photos of the singer with the just-released smartphone buzzed the internet.

Fans, unaware of the context, were surprised to see the singer holding a phone set to release on September 19. A netizen wrote,

Online reactions erupt after Dua Lipa is spotted with an iPhone 17 Pro

Apple unveiled its latest iPhone 17 series on September 9 in a launch event. Just after the event, Pop Base shared a picture of Dua Lipa in which she can be seen taking a mirror selfie with the new orange-colored Pro model. Many netizens couldn't believe that the picture was real, with one user calling it AI-generated.

"This is ai, the phone just came out"

Another online user went on to call the picture "fake."

"So we’re posting fake content now?"

A user praised the singer's look but criticized the smartphone at the same time.

"Dua looks beautiful but the phone gives me little hope for battery life."

Another netizen slammed the iPhone 17 Pro's look, adding that the company looked "desperate" for a new look.

"No hate to her ofc but that phone, oh why tf the phone camera part so long for i love my 14 pro and all, but apple getting so desperate now to make their phones different."

However, some liked Apple's new model and called the phone looking "unreal" in the singer's hand.

"That orange iPhone 17 Pro looks unreal in Dua Lipa’s hands—future vibes already! If that’s the Tequila Sunrise colorway, I’m sold. Drop the deets on when we can get one?"

Another netizen also liked the picture of the Levitating singer with the orange-colored phone.
