MrBeast has apologized to Kai Cenat for all the hate he was subjected to for not donating to Team Water.

The YouTuber called Cenat during his ongoing Mafiathon 3 livestream to express regret for the confusion over his philanthropic efforts. For context, the former, legally known as Jimmy Donaldson, launched a fundraising campaign last month to increase access to clean drinking water for scores around the globe.

At the time, he alleged that Kai Cenat never donated to his bid while several other prolific names did. In a new video, however, he can be heard clearing the air about the same.

Congratulating the streamer for "cracking a million" viewers, therefore making a world record, he said that he didn't realize the streamer got a new number, and it took him until this month to figure it out. He also pointed out that he tried to get the trolls to calm down online.

However, fans have already begun reacting to the phone call, with many alleging that it's likely they don't like each other. Here's how one fan reacted on X, for instance:

"Some diabolical sh*t going on……….we all know they don’t fw each other, and it’s obvious."

The comments didn't end there:

"Beast apologizing like he missed child support payments. bro just didn’t have the digits," one user quipped.

"Is this a show of class or a bid to gain more popularity," someone else questioned.

"They’re under the same agency so somebody’s lying .." another claimed.

"Righhthttt the right number? Come onnnn man," yet another pointed out.

See how the rest of X is reacting:

"MrBeast will literally never stand on anything. bro is lowkey two faced as hell," one naysayer claimed.

"Good on MrBeast for reaching out. Communication failures happen, but it takes character to publicly apologize," someone else noted.

"Glad they finally connected and cleared up the misunderstanding," another added.

"That’s how real friends resolve situations man it’s good to see," yet another cheered on.

The drama between Kai Cenat and MrBeast explored:

In his call with Kai Cenat during Day 28 of the Mafiathon 3 livestream, Jimmy Donaldson said:

"The whole Team Water thing, people were running with that, and I'm not even joking, I don't know why I have two Kai Cenats saved. But I called and texted you quite a bit, but I didn't realize until a week ago that it was your old number. I reached out to your manager and asked him 'damn, does Kai hate me' and he was like 'no,' and then I asked for your number, and I was like 'Oh, sh*t, I've been texting the wrong number."

Kai Cenat then opened up to Jimmy Donaldson about the hate he received, noting that it all got overwhelming for him. However, the latter pointed out that, even though "people were running" with him "not donating," he tried to get them to back off.

"I replied to a tweet telling people to chill the f*ck out," MrBeast said, to which Kai Cenat replied, "I've seen that. I appreciate you, bro."

As a show of support, the YouTuber also donated 200 gifted subscriptions to the Twitch streamer's gig. The latter has been broadcasting all this month for his latest subathon challenge. On September 28, he reached 1 million subscribers, setting the world record.

“I can’t fake it, man. I f**k with Jimmy. Jimmy cool,” Kai said on stream. “That motherf**king stuff that was pulled last month was a little fishy. Hey, listen, no hard feelings, though. I’m just being real, but shout out to Jimmy, man.”

He was referring to the YouTuber's tweet last month, where he called on xQc and Kai Cenat to donate to his bid to prove who was “the richest.” However, he ended the call with no hard feelings:

“That’s why I f**k with Jimmy.”
